Hermione walked into the common room and saw Ron sitting in his usual spot by the fireplace.
He usually sat there although no one was sure why.
Hermione went and sat by him.
" Ron, " Hermione started.
Ron looked over at her.
" Yes? "
" Have you seen Harry? "
Ron let out a big breath.
" I thought something bad had happened. " he sighed.
" Your best friend is missing! " Hermione almost shouted at him.
" Chill out. I saw him. " Ron reassured her.
Hermione perked up.
" Who? What? When? Where? Why? How? "
" Why did you say all that?! " Ron asked.
Hermione shrugged. " Seemed like an appropriate time. "
" Well, I saw him walking down the hall with Malfoy. " Ron said.
Hermione gasped.
" Malfoy!?! "
Ron nodded.
" Tell me everything you saw. " She demanded.
" Ok. They walked down the hall and outside and that's all I saw. "
" That helps. Thanks. " Hermione said.
As she was about to leave, Ron had a question.
" Why do you care? " he asked. " You don't like Harry do you? Or Malfoy even? "
" Ew. " Was Hermiones only response as she headed back to the girls dorms.
