emerald's pov:

"emerald I need you in the kitchen please." I heard my mom emily yell."coming mom" I yell back as I get up and use my super speed to get down to the kitchen. my mom is searching through the fridge for something for the party we haveing tonight for dean, liv, isabella, Jackson, and mine birthday. we are all turning sixteen which makes me happy because I can finally find my mate. my mom turns around and jumps dropping whatever she had in her hands. I pick it up and hand it to her."emerald you know how much I hate it when you do that." she said and I replied"sorry mom I just wanted to hurry up and see what you needed." her expession softened and she told me to make the cake. which is my specialty because I love to bake. today is gonna be great.
