*RING RING RING* My alarm blares in my head as I'm about to turn it off and close my eyes again, I burst out of bed so fast that I probably created a sonic boom. I run to my closet and pick out my outfit for the day, and run into my bathroom. I take a quick shower and dry my hair, I put on my one of my new outfits I got with Tiffany yesterday, which consists of a white and black striped crop top, a pair of waist high skinny jeans, a pair of black low top converse, a black beanie, and a cute choker/necklace with a little anchor. Then I brush and straighten my hair, and  put on some light make up, a smoky eye with cat wing eyeliner, mascara over my fake eyelashes, and light pink lipstick. Then I go downstairs to eat breakfast, which I have to make like usual, no one would be getting up this early. I make some toast for the road and decide to stop at Starbucks on the way.(A/N: Does any one in real life actually have time to take a shower brush straighten and eat before school? Just wondering.). I leave the house, and pick up Tiffany, and we stop at Starbucks, I order a Vanilla Latte with Chocolate shavings and whip cream, Tiffany orders a Salted Caramel Mocha with Chocolate shavings, and whip cream. Once we get our coffees we head to the school. I parked in a spot in the parking lot, grabbed my bag, and me and Tiffany walked into the school. The day started out great, but when we walked inside everyone started staring at me, did I wear something wrong, then they started to whisper, "Who is that?!" and "I think that's the new girl." Stuff like that. I was nervous from it, but I just stood there and waved with a smile on my face, but then I relaxed, when I heard other whispers, things like "She's so pretty." or "Look at her hair, she's gorgeous." It made me feel better. Then Tiffany pulls at my arm, and I realized that I was just standing there waving for like 3 minutes. I snapped out of my trans and started walking with her again, we got to the office and they gave me my scheduled, and my locker number, with it's code. Tiffany said she had to do something, but gave me directions to my locker, I thanked her and we went our separate ways, seeing as she showed me where my home room was, where I would be assigned a guide. I walked to where she told me, and I found my locker. I opened it and put away my things. I grabbed what I needed for my first class and shut my locker. I started to walk to my first class when I heard shouting, I couldn't quite make out what it was, but what I did hear worried me, "Stop! I'm sorry, I --  I'll do anyth--- Don't leave me her---" I ran towards the noise to find a boy beaten and bruised hanging on a locker. "OH MY GOD ARE YOU OK?!" I ask helping him down, "Stop, they'll just get angry with you, don't help me, leave me." He said shaken up. "No, who did this to you? Come on, we need to tell an adult." I say trying to pull him with me. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." I hear a voice behind me say. "Oh? And why not?" I ask turning around, to see three boys, the one who first spoke was on the left, he had brown hair and dark brown eyes, he was actually quite handsome, they all were, then the one on the left, who had blonde hair and baby blue eyes spoke, "Because if you do, we'll kick your ass." He said as if I should've already known the answer, at this point I realized these boys must be Rain and his so called henchmen. "Oh, look at baby Charlie, needing help from a girl." The on in the middle, who must be Rain said, he has black hair and blue eyes. "Charlie? That's your name, nice to know, now go." I said blocking them from him. He nods his head in appreciation and runs of to his class. "I need to get going to class now, Tiffany was right, I guess I would know who Rain and his henchmen where by the end of the day. Thanks for the information, I'll be going now Rain, henchman 1, and henchman 2. Bye." I say waving to them grabbing my things and walking off. They were a bit flabbergasted at first and then realized what was happening, they tried to get my attention but I ignored them, still walking and entering my classroom. The teacher introduces me, "This is Jade Embers, she will now be attending Phoenix Shade High, please do your best to be kind to her." she says as I wave with a smile, and most of the boys are drooling over me, but I don't notice. The teacher points to a place for me to sit, and I do, she says we can do what ever we want for the rest of the hour, and she would choose some one to be my guide. I put my headphones in to ignore the world, and start doodling in my notebook, not realizing when the teacher picks my guide. I was still doodling when someone smacks their hand down on my desk and I look up to see a mischievous grin on the face of the one and only Rain. "Uhgg, What do you want?" I ask annoyed that he took me out of my peaceful mood. "Weren't you listening? Tsk, Tsk, Tsk. You shouldn't zone out in class." He said obviously enjoying the fact that I was getting annoyed. "No, ok. I have no clue what you're talking about. But just and FYI she said we could do what we wanted, so I decided to draw. If you have a problem with that talk to my receptionist." I say slightly joking. "You have a receptionist?" he asks straying from what he was saying before. "No." I say in a obvious tone. "Then how would I-" He started "Exactly." I said putting my headphones back in. He pulls them out and says in and angry tone. "Hey! I'm not done talking!" "Well then what do you want?!" I yell at him. "I just wanted to make sure you know that I was assigned to be your guide, They only chose me because we have all the same classes. You obviously didn't hear, so your lucky I was listening, or you'd have a problem, luckily, I can move past what happened in the hallway, and I'll show you where your classes are, see, I'm just that nice." "Wait, your my guide? I'll have to see if someone anyone else has the same classes as me." I say once again putting my headphones in, he seemed to be getting annoyed so I added, under my breath, but purposely so he could here. "Wouldn't want to be seen around you." he got even more mad. "Why not, if people thought you were my friend you be pretty popular. You know, I can make your life great through out high school, or terrible." He added at the end. I look up at him and say, "No one can make my life terrible but me, and I don't think you could scare me if you wanted to. Now before I punch you and get detention, please get out of my face." I say then add. "Thank you." He literally starts to fume, he tries to keep his calm and leans in so close to my face that I swear our noses almost touched. "I can scare anyone if I want to, I will destroy you, and you ---" Before he could finish whatever he was going to say, I decked him in the jaw,  that's when I realized everyone was watching the entire interaction. "I warned you, see. I'm not the only one who doesn't listen. Next time don't think of me as one of these little kids who are scared of you, think of me as the girl who decked you on her first day." I say as the bell rings and walk out of the classroom, as he rubs his jaw in pain, he almost chases after me, but his friends stop him and they walk to class together. I have trouble finding it, but when I do, there is one seat left, I sigh, walk to it, and sit down and ignore the death stares being sent from the seat next to me. Of course because I'm the new kid, the teacher asks me all the questions. It's not that big a deal since I'm pretty good at math, but what was really annoying was how when I would answer a question she would always ask how I got the answer, when she just taught us how like three seconds before, she says, "OK, Jade. What is the answer to question 8?" "It's forty-three." "Very good, yes that is correct. Can you explain how you got the answer?" "The same way you literally just taught us like twenty seconds ago, you literally just showed us, why should I need to explain it?" I say with a little attitude, ok a lot. "Uhh, I just wanted to know if you understood it." she says a little shocked. "Why because I'm new, you think I'm dumb, or because I was home-schooled, and you think my parents are dumb? It's one or the other, because you aren't doing it to any of the other students?" I ask like she just insulted my entire race. "W-Well I didn't think that you were dumb, I just thought--" she started to say, but I cut her off, "Ok so you think my parents are dumb then, you think they aren't smart enough to teach me math, Ok well how about you answer my question." I walk up to the board and write a very difficult problem.
