It was end of school, when Branch gathered his school supplies. A gleeful squeal caught Branch's attention.

"Hey Branch!" Poppy cheerfully smiles in delight.

"Uh hey" Branch glanced at her pink glowing cheeks and walked ahead, avoiding her presence.

"Hey! I thought you were my friend?" Poppy's frown became present and looked down.

"Well, newsflash- people change your "royal" highness!" Branch glared angrily in distaste, bowing sarcastically.

"But Branch-" Poppy muttered.

"No!" Branch interrupted and walked ahead, leaving a frowning Poppy behind.

Poppy stood there in shock. Debating what things she has said or did wrong.

Branch continued to exit the building and gradually return to his cozy bunker. Without warning a shadow loomed behind the trees...

On instinct, branch grabbed the closest object, a rock, and held it above his head threatening the intruder.

"Hey whaohhh!" Creek laughed amused.

"Oh it's you..." Branch rolled his eyes throwing the rock continuously into his palms.

"What? Not happy to see me either?" Creek chuckled.

"In fact I'd rather have a bear be in your place..." Branch smirked.

"Well hope you stuck on our deal..." Creek glanced at the rock still present in Branch's grasp.

"Of course..." Branch grumbled, walking into his bunker, furiously slamming the door behind him.

"Such a cold heart" Creek snarled and walked away from Branch's bunker.

When Branch reaches his bunker he bolted the multiple locks and threw the stone onto his dark oak table. He looked down and frowned...

A tear rolled off Branch's cheek as his lips parted in a sigh.

Branch reached over and looked at the photo frame of him and his grandma.

"It's just me and you now... or so I thought... I have no one." Branch sat at the table glancing at the round rock, twirling it in between his fingers lightly.

Tears free flowed and his eyes downcast in shame...
