Lies and Lier

Ryan's POV

"Are you serious?" I laughed while grasping my sides. We were walking home after getting Alex's stuff, we happened to be walking by the school.

"I told you I was serious, she was the most perfect woman I have ever seen. Well she thought she was until she met me, I have never seen a girl have a bitch fit just because I wouldn't date her." Alex laughed as well.

"Girls are lame." I added.

"Oh really?" I quickly hid behind Alex. Becky was standing in front of us with her team and the basketball team.

"Yup the most lamest people in the world are girls such as yourself." Alex said crossing his arms over his chest. "Why I say that, well look at yourself. You had to have a whole team to confront us."

"Listen here you faggot!" One of the guys shouted taking a step forward. Alex's body warmed up quickly. "What the fuck?" I looked up at Alex and notice his eyes were gold with fire within them.

"You don't want to mess with me." Alex growled.

"You're a monster!" One of the cheerleaders shouted. I narrowed my eyes and came out from behind Alex. My fangs grew so I knew my eyes were black now.

"Don't you dare call him a monster!" I hissed. Becky and a couple of basketball players were the only ones not scared.

"What is going on?" One of the girls squeaked. I looked towards her and smiled, showing her my fangs. The girls screamed running off, some of the guys flinched but didn't back off.

"We aren't scared of you Ryan, you are just a weak little freak." Becky said taking a step forward.

"Don't step any closer." Alex growled. "Memory swipe." Alex touched his head then pointed at the basketball players that weren't monsters. The chosen guys fell to their knees grasping their heads. In the distance you could hear screams from the girls that ran away.

"What did you do to them?" Becky shouted.

"I wiped their memories of us "monsters". Do I need to wipe yours too?" Alex brought his hands up to his head. Becky and the standing guys backed away. "That's what I thought, let's go Ryan." I retracted my fangs and smiled at Alex.

"Okay." We started walking away from the group.

We made it back to my house just in time for dinner. My dad was home cooking this time while my mom was sitting at the table reading.

"Hi mom, we are back." I said sitting down next to her and Alex next to me.

"Hi honey, your father is almost down with dinner if you two want to go wash up real quick. Also your sister is almost done packing up her room that Alex can sleep in there." My mom said smiling at us.

"Well actually, Alex might have to sleep in Ryan's room tonight." Charlie said from behind us. "I'm having a little problem with my car." She sat down next to our mom.

"That's fine, I don't mind sharing a bed with Alex." I added.

"Okay boys go wash up." My mom said pointing towards the stairs.

"Yes ma'am." Alex and I said at the same time before disappearing up the stairs.

After dinner Alex and I ended up in my room playing Mario Kart. I won one race while Alex was beating me left and right.

"Hey Ryan, Hey Alex, can I join you guys?" We looked over at Aphrodite before nodding.

"Yea grab a controller, you can join after this race." I said red shelling Alex.

"What the peacock!" Alex shouted. Aphrodite and I laughed out loud.

"So I heard Alex here has the ability to erase memories." Aphrodite said while picking her kart.

"Yep Becky tried to attack me with the basketball players but Alex scared them away, I also scared some of the cheerleaders with my vampire look." I smiled while Aphrodite laughed.

"Yes, I wish I was there to scare them off two." Aphrodite whined.

"Maybe next time honey." Alex winked at Aphrodite who laughed.

"I like you Alex, you did a good job on this friend Ryan." Aphrodite said.

"Glad I was approve to be Ryan's friend." Alex smirked.

"Yup, also get red shelled bitched!" Aphrodite shouted throwing a red shell.

"Hey it hit me instead!" I shouted. Alex and Aphrodite started laughing while I just whined.

"I missed you Ryan." Aphrodite whined hugging onto me once we were done playing games. Alex was in the shower leaving me alone with Aphrodite.

"Sorry for being mean to you Aphrodite, I just been having a lot of problems lately with my visions and emotions. Also with Tyler and Sebastian trying to control who can and can't be my friends is making me mad." I said leaning my head on her shoulder.

"Aphrodite can I ask you something?" I asked.

"Sure honey." She was rubbing my head.

"Do you like Tyler?" I felt Aphrodite tensed under me.

"I uh, sure I like Tyler as a friend." Aphrodite mumbled.

"Liar, I know you like Tyler more than a friend." I said sitting up straight.

"Okay fine, I like Tyler so what? It's not like you are going to end up with him!" She snapped then realized what she did. "I'm so sorry Ryan I didn't mean to snap at you."

"It's true though, you are Tyler's mate, he even told me himself." I frowned. "Aphrodite do you trust me?"

"Of course I do, Ryan are you okay?" She asked rubbing my cheek.

"Would you ever keep secrets from me?" I asked looking her in the eyes.

"I would tell you everything." She said. I looked down, and slowly backed away.

"Everything?" I asked looking back at her.

"Everything." She said with a forced smile. I bit my lip so I wouldn't snap at her.

"Okay." I whispered. "Well it's getting late so you should probably be heading home now." I forced a smile.

"You're right, well I'll see you at school tomorrow." Aphrodite hugged me before leaving my room. As soon as I heard the front closed tears fell.

"I will never get used to the fact I can take hot showers now. You okay?" Alex asked, he walked over to me and knelt down so he was looking at my tear stained face.

"My best, my best friend lied to me." I choke wiping my cheek. "I, remember when I just froze, well I had a vision earlier? Well it was of a conversation between me and Aphrodite, she was telling me how she was pregnant with Tyler's baby. Just now I asked her if she would keep any secrets from me and she said no. She lied to me Alex, my best friend for years lied to me." I cried wrapping my arms around Alex. "How could she do this to me, I trusted her."

"I know hun, maybe she is scared of how you will react?" Alex said rubbing my back. I pulled back and looked at Alex. I just realized how attractive Alex was; his long dirty blonde hair brought out the green of his eyes that seemed to sparkle, lastly his tan skin looked so flawless. "Ryan it's a bad idea." Alex whispered as I leaned closer to him.

"I know, but please Alex I want to forget my problems." I whispered before connecting our lips.
