Chapter 11: Figuring Out The Truth

Nikki’s P.O.V.

    A few days ago, I started to notice that Deema had been acting strange whenever she’s around ‘Bendy’. I decided to ask about it. “Hey, Deema. I have a question real quick,” I said walking over to her. Deema looked at me and asked, “What’s that, Nikki?” I let out a sigh.

    “Why are you acting strange around ‘Bendy’? It’s almost like you have your guard up around him,” I said. Deema let out a sigh and dropped her voice to a whisper. “‘Bendy’s’ been acting strange ever since he and Shadow came back from their walk a few days ago,” she said.

    “How so?” I asked. Was there something I missed between then and now? Deema looked at me with slight worry. “You told me that Bendy has the ink illness and that it hits at least once a day everyday,” she said. “What has he not had?” My eyes widened slightly.

    “H-He hasn’t had an ink attack,” I said quietly. “Exactly,” Deema said. “I don’t think ‘Bendy’ is actually Bendy.” I dropped my voice to a whisper and said,” If he’s not bendy, then who is he?” Deema shook her head and said, “I don’t know.”

-----Small Time Skip-----

    Shortly after Deema and I finished talking, I went and told Cuphead. He shook his head slightly and said, “Why am I not surprised?” This confused me. “Could you tell?” I asked. Cuphead let out a sigh and nodded. “I figured it out the same day he and Shadow ‘went on their walk’,” he said.

    “How did you figure it out?” I asked. Cuphead looked at me with a small yet sad smile. “He started avoiding me,” he said. It was true. ‘Bendy’ had been avoiding Cuphead. And I know the real Bendy would never do that. Especially since they loved each other.

    I gave Cuphead a small smile and said, “We’ll find Bendy. And when we do, you can make the one who took him pay.” Cuphead’s eyes seemed to darken a bit. “You know sure as hell I will. They will regret ever laying a hand on Bendy,” he said, anger visible in his eyes.

-----Small Time Skip-----

    With Deema and Cuphead’s help, everyone found out the truth about ‘Bendy’. The only two who didn’t know was “Bendy” and Shadow. At first Boris and Felix didn’t believe me but after I pointed out a few major things, they both realized that I was right.

    “My question is, who figured it out?” Boris asked. “Technically, Cuphead did but Deema was the first one to say anything about it,” I said. “I figured Shadow would have been told. Was he not?,” Felix asked. “No,” I said.

    “Nikki believes that Shadow might have something to do with Bendy’s disappearance since him and “Bendy” have been getting along,” Deema said. I had closed my eyes at this point. Trying to keep myself calm. “Nikki, calm down. You’re going to cause yourself to have an ink attack,” Oswald said.

    I took a deep breath, trying to calm down. Dad was right, if I didn't calm down I would have an ink attack. I let out a sigh and opened my eyes. Normally, Nichole was the one who made plans but now, it was my turn. “You got a plan?” Oswald asked. He must have seen the look on my face.

    I looked at him with a nod. “They’re going to tell us where Bendy is whether they like it or not,” I said. “And if they refuse to?” Mugs asked, a bit worried. Anger showed on my face as I said, “They will NOT like me.” Those who were sitting stood up. “We’re all in this together,” Boris said. I glanced in the direction Shadow and “Bendy” were last seen at.

    “You will rue the day when you decided to mess with us.”
