"I love you." He said.
"I love you more." She giggled.
I hated seeing them together. She knew I liked him and she took him. Jin had been my crush since freshman year, we would talk everyday up until three weeks ago. Then it all changed.

"Hey Jin!" Leah said, twirling her hair around her finger.
We were walking home from school, Jin and I. But, Leah tagged along afterwards.
"Hey Leah!" He waved.
My head hurt seeing her flirt with him, when only hours before I told her my feelings towards him. Maybe she's just being friendly. Leah was my cousin, and I loved her... But I don't think I could handle her with her hands all over Jin.
"So, I was wondering if maybe you wanted to go to eat with me tonight at the new sushi place." She smiled.
Boom, there it was. That's were I planned on asking him to go tonight. The only reason I'd walked the long way today was because of that.
I stopped dead in my tracks, hugging by books while I looked at the concrete ahead of me. My eyes held a blank stare. They walked about eight feet until Jin noticed I was gone.
"Y/N, are you okay?" He asked.
"I'm just gonna walk to the coffee shop." I said, still holding my blank stare.
I turned around only to feel a burning sensation on my left cheek. I wiped it with my sleeve and started walking.
It's almost as if I had super hearing because even if I was fifty feet away I could hear him...
"I'd love to!" He exclaimed.
My pace quickened and so did the falling of my tears. I lied, I wasn't going to the coffee shop.. I was just turning the back roads to go home.
When I finally got there, I ran to my room and flopped on my bed. The tears soaked my pillow which also muffled my angry screams.

I walked to the door to see who was here. I almost wanted to slam my own head in the door.
"What do you want?" I asked with puffy eyes.
"Wow, you look like you been crying. Anyways, I was coming to see if maybe you had a dress I could borrow for my date tonight." Leah said as she perked her hair.
"Even if I did, I wouldn't let you use it." I huffed.
"Wow cousin, what's up your a-" I cut her off.
"Really! You're going to ask me what's wrong?! Maybe I wouldn't be this way if you hadn't tried to take him away! You knew I wanted to take him there tonight! I told you I finally had the courage to tell him my feelings!" I screamed. "But, you took that away from me." My voice suddenly became smaller.
"Oh face it Y/N, he wouldn't have felt the same." She rolled her eyes.
"What happened to you." I said softly. "Wheres the loving cousin I knew 24 hours ago?"
"She's gone. And your gone from Jin's head. He! Doesn't! Want! You!" She yelled.
That was it. I slammed the door as hard as I could right in her face. I stomped back up to my room and cried myself to sleep.
The next day at school was horrible. I practically threw my tray onto my table as I sat down. Her legs were resting on his as they sat across from me. I hated that we had assigned lunch tables. I mean, come on... Were seniors, we can handle moving around.
The bell rang to go to home and I couldn't be happier. I practically ran to my locker to get away as fast as I could.
I walked out of the school, jumped down the steps, and continued my way down the sidewalk. My emotions were really bothering me and I could feel a warm tear find its way down my cheek.
"Y/N." A voice yelled.
I turned to look behind me but immediately turned away when I realized who it was.
"Leave me alone!" I yelled.
"Y/N, please. You've been upset today. Are you okay?" Jin asked.
"No, okay! I'm not.." I said.
"What's wrong?" He asked, placing his hands on my shoulders.
"It doesn't matter anymore." I said, my voice fell small.
"Y/N, yes it does, especially if it's making you cry. I want to help." He wiped the tear that slid down the side of my nose.
"Its Leah. I liked a boy and I was ready to tell him how I felt. But I can't now because she beat me to him." My voice was still small.
"You- you liked me?" He asked.
"Wasn't it obvious Jin?" I asked.
"I just-." I cut him off.
"It's fine, you don't have to say anything." I turned around a took a step forward but was pulled back by my wrist.
I twirled around and Jin's lips crashed into mine. This is what I've always wanted... But it felt so wrong..
"Stop." I said as I pulled away.
"But-."
"You can't do that to her Jin. I may be mad at her, but it's wrong." I frowned.
"Listen." He said. "I like you too. I'm sorry I didn't notice. Leah came along so flirty and I figured maybe if I dated her, it would burn away my feelings for you. But, it only made them worse. I can't stop thinking about you. Every time I look at her, I see you."
"Jin-." This time, I was the one who was shocked.
He didn't say anything, he just smiled.
"So, what now?" I asked.
"How about we go to that sushi place." He said as he wrapped his arm around me.
