It was midway through the winter season, and it seems like the breeze blows as cold as the ice beneath our very shoes; but in Suzzie's case that’s skates. Knowing the journey and the trip that we both was about to embark, I was scared for my little angel in those skates. Just thinking about it reminds me of the times when Samantha and I would sneak into the Skate park down the street at Denny's though a hole in the back gate entrance, just to get in sometimes. Those were the moments that are captured as you live it but words are difficult to explain it.

With Suzzie all laced up and ready to skate, I had no choice but to gather my pair of skates urgently. "Suzzie sweedy, you got to hold on a minute ok hunnie", I said nervously but a bit excited, “Daddy got to fetch his skates".

 I quickly rise to my feet, then made a 360 degrees spin to the door; and that was when I saw her. Samantha was just standing there in the doorway looking over us like a guardian angel, holding two shining pair of skates that almost blinded me at the first sight of it-such a beauty. Its moments like this that I dust all my troubles away and bask in the happiness that Samantha has brought to my life, and now it’s double. I wanted to hug her and squeeze her so badly, so tightly giving her the largest bear hug ever but I was afraid the skates cut my hopes of happiness. It’s so amazing how Samantha knows just what to say, and just what to do to make me happy even at my worst; our love is deep and her talk aint cheap-priceless. Looking at her I realize that I have found my soul mate, without a doubt in my heart-I know it’s true. She slowly stretched her hands out handing me the silver blue shiny pair of skates-Samantha was not one for much words but when spoken they are meaningful. Suited up and laced up, we gently took Suzzie by her hand and began her training; gliding slowly along the front yard.
