On The Loose, Chapter 1: Traumatized
Waking up to--the sun burning through your eyes is definitely not the best thing to wake up to. Along with--when your roommate is blasting her music playlist very early in the morning. She looked at the digital clock which said 11:23AM and groaned.
"AH DARN IT, CHAEYOUNG! CAN'T YOU TONE IT DOWN!" she shouted from their room. And groaned again when she didn't hear the volume of the music going down.
So she got up and noticed her messy bed. So much for a clean freak person like me.
"I'll just fix you later." she said (to her bed) before going outside their bedroom.
"First you opened the curtains to purposely open and burn my eyes, and now you're blasting some music on your speakers? Thank you, because I wasn't sleeping, right?" note the sarcasm.
"And also, it's the weekend. We are supposed to be resting peacefully, aren't we!" she said-—not as a rhetorical question, but as a matter of fact—as she walked (more like stomped her feet) to the living room, sleep evident on her face.
"You're most welcome!" said the girl, not caring about the older one's outburst.
She clapped her hands and said "Now that you're awake, can you buy some groceries? There's like–uhm...–nothing inside the refrigerator anymore. Please~ it's your turn for this weekend."
"Why didn't y–"she was cut off by the younger girl.
"–PLUS! I've got homework's to do." the girl smiled playfully, clearly avoiding the fact that she didn't do anything to solve her starvation problem these past 2 hours that she was awake, but instead, just partied at their living room out of boredom.
"Argh! Alright, alright. But not now, I'll do it later–"
"No~! I haven't even had breakfast yet!" Chaeyoung again said, not giving Dahyun any chance to complete her sentence.
"Nope, I'll do it after I've—" she was cut off with the sound of her growling tummy.
And then she heard Chaeyoung laughing out loud while saying "T-THERE WE GO! W-what now? Are you buying or not?" the girl is now holding her tummy, her face going red. Probably from laughing too much.
"Woah calm down, are you high?" she then groaned and said "I'm too sleepy and hungry to move my arse." but she was replied with silence with a follow-up of "You're going to hold responsible for my death caused by starvation then." she said with a playful smile.
"Tsk, fine." replied the older one, unamused by what the younger one said along with her actions.
"YES! THANK YOU, UNNIE! NOW I WANT THESE!" the girl cheerfully said while handing the list of the groceries to buy.

[DAHYUN'S POV]
Not wearing a jacket is one of my biggest regret for today. Only wearing a close-fitting shirt and sweatpants when it's like 0 degrees Celsius outside today, I even knew that.
"Great, now my arse is shivering." I said while rubbing my hands together and then hugging myself, hoping that it would help me lessen my body temperature.
"For all of the stupid things I've done, why did I decided to not wear my jacket and decided to go outside like this?" knowing the fact that Chaeyoung won't let me go inside our apartment without any grocery bags in return, I just continued my walk to the convenience store that is almost nearby.
While looking at the surroundings, my eyes landed on a dark alleyway, and immediately then looked away when it gave me the chills because of how dirty the said alleyway is.
