On The Loose, Chapter 5: No One

Everyone has been acting strangely lately, a pale girl thought. Chaeyoung who used to play games with her is apparently busy today too. Dahyun has been hearing the younger girl murmuring something with the words stalking, and following which she often has included in whatever she was going to say. Chaeyoung has been acting like that ever since when she got her head injury last week.

That reckless kid, really.

And when Dahyun saw the younger girl going home with Tzuyu helping her, it was Dahyun's turn to bombard her with questions, her annoying-caring-nagging side revealing itself for it was a blue moon. But Chaeyoung told Dahyun her side of the story when she got in an incident was that a thief tried to snatch her beloved purse, so—of course, she would go after him; and it was since no one was trying to help her. Next thing Dahyun was told was that she got slammed into a metal bar or some sort.

What the hell now?

Chaeyoung had also mentioned that a man helped her with her demise before she went completely blacked out, and then she woke up at a clinic with Tzuyu beside her.

It makes sense now. That explains why they were together.

And now, the childhood friend of Dahyun is outside wandering off to wonderland while the pale girl was forced to watch the TV with the news channel on out of boredom since no customers were coming in yet. They have a lot going through their minds right now. Both of them thought about the threats that could ruin their lives.

Chaeyoung's case was that she sensed someone stalking her, to which Dahyun offered to help because they were best friends after all, but unfortunately, she was turned down. She told Dahyun that she will be going home late, which is why she didn't want her older sister to tag along.

Dahyun's case was the two killers in that alleyway. Ever since that day, nothing has been the same. And the thought of that, everything was nowhere near normal. It was not reported in the news, the incident. There was no news regarding the killing in that alleyway. She didn't see one bit, or she might have missed it. It was either that or maybe it was just her being her; her being paranoid. It was then since after that that she met Momo and Jeongyeon.

Then in comes the stranger who must have been obsessed with her. The stranger she barely knows except for "Friend of an associate" other than that, she doesn't plan on knowing or befriending, at least.

She must be Momo's friend, although. But befriending Momo would be nice, actually. I wouldn't mind her. She's cool and pretty. Heck, they are.

Dahyun noticed that just like with the first meeting with Jeongyeon, Momo tends to go protective and completely block her friends away from Dahyun's perspective by going in between them. It was as if she was trying to keep her away from them. It was as if she was hiding something.

Or maybe those two were the killers? haha...if it was that easy to see, then I would've known who.

But Dahyun has only seen two figures in that alleyway, and she was sure that the two were the only ones in there. She thought of the possibilities of all possibilities, it was during these times that Dahyun wished that she had Chaeyoung's deduction skills, even if it was just a tiny bit.

Dahyun thought that Momo can't be the killer because she was just too cute and kind for crimes, or even be able to kill someone. And as for Jeongyeon, she gave out the cool and easy going vibe to Dahyun, it was the kind of those with friendly vibes. But she wasn't sure about Jeongyeon being one with them for she had only seen the older lady once unlike Momo.
