I sat in the studio, waiting for Harry. We were writing a song together today for Far Away. I was so excited to work with him. He wrote Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart for Ari and I absolutely love it.

Harry rushed in with two cups of Starbucks. "Sorry I'm late, love." He kissed my cheek and put the coffee down. "Brought you one."

I smiled and happily sipped the coffee. "So, for the episode we want a song for is for the finale. It has to be a love song. Something that makes you feel when you hear it."

"Let's do it." Harry grabbed his phone, a pen, and a notebook. I sat by him and I started explaining what the episode was going to be about.

"So many spoilers! How dare you?" He fake gasped. I laughed and slightly punched his shoulder. "You know who's great at writing love songs? Shawn."

I furrowed my eyebrows,"Yes, he's great at it but you have this sort of vibe to you that we want for Far Away."

"Shawn, can give us a hand. He's in town. Text him?" Harry said.

"You're pushing for Shawn a lot. What's going on?" I asked.

"C'mon, Mary. He likes you. Very much." He grabbed a guitar and strummed. "After that night at Ari's, all he would talk about was you on the ride home."

I scrunched my nose,"Harry, I'm kinda dating Justin."

"What? Since when?" Harry asked.

"A couple days ago. We want to keep it from the media for a while so I'd appreciate if you kept this to yourself." I said, giving him an innocent smile.

He nodded,"Let's begin with the song."

Shawn
I wrote a couple lyrics on the notepad in front of me and then strummed my guitar. I hummed the melody I had in my head. As I was trying to piece it together there was a knock on my hotel door.

I opened the door to see Justin. "Hey Shawn." He said, giving me a hug.

"Justin, what a surprise. How'd you know where I was?" I asked, curiously.

"I've got resources." He chuckled and sat on the couch. "Have you seen Mary?" Justin asked, randomly.

"No, haven't seen her since Wednesday." I replied, a bit confused. "She should be in the studio with Harry. They're supposed be writing a song for Far Away."

Justin nodded,"Great. I'll surprise her there."

"Surprise her?" I asked confused.

Justin nodded and messed with my guitar. "We've been dating for a couple days now. I thought it'd be a good idea to surprise her and take her out to a nice dinner. What do you think?"

I was taken aback by the fact that they're dating. "Oh, that-that sounds great. I didn't even know you guys were talking. How did that happen?"

"We met at the AMA's. She was backstage grabbing a bite to eat and I went up to her and told her I was a fan of her show. We just..hit it off." Justin said, shrugging.

"Oh, that's great man. She's a keeper." I said, clearing my throat.

"Yeah, heard you got a crush on her." He said, looking at me.

I furrowed my eyebrows,"Where'd you hear that? TMZ?" I chuckled, trying to play it off. "We met for the first time on Wednesday and Ariana invited us all to see the show. Mary is great but I promise I don't have a crush on her."

"Nah man. It's okay. I trust you." He said, eyeing me. "Well, gotta go. I'm going to get her some flowers."

I nodded and he left. I sat back down and tried to concentrate but I couldn't.

All I could think about was Mary. I put my guitar down and looked out of my hotel room window. I sighed and went out to the balcony. I needed a bit of air. As I was in my head, I heard my phone start to ring. I went inside to grab it and saw Carly wanted to FaceTime. I smiled lightly and answered her call.

"Canada!!" She yelled, happily. "To be honest, didn't think you'd answer."

I furrowed my eyebrows. "Why's that?"

"You've been ignoring me lately. You've been hanging out with Mary so much." Carly rolled her eyes when she said Mary's name. "And Ariana too. It's like you've forgotten who I am!"

"I've hung out with them once. I've been locked up in my hotel room, writing songs." I said, flipping the camera to show her my room.

"Heard you got a crush on Mary." Carly said abruptly. I didn't answer Carly. "Canada, it's me. You can trust me."

"I mean.." before I finished my door flew open.

"Peter!" She said, smiling at me.

"Liv!" I said, putting my phone down. I quickly embraced Liv and kissed her forehead. She was a childhood friend and fellow actress. "What are you doing here?" I said, happily.

"Visiting you, bud. I missed your constant singing." She said, setting her luggage aside.

"Hellloooo?" I heard an annoyed Carly say.

"Shit." I had forgotten I was FaceTiming her. I quickly grabbed my phone,"Sorry, Liv just-"

"You know, Shawn. Call me when you actually have time for me." Carly said before hanging up.

I looked up at Liv and shrugged,"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to start anything."

"Nah, she's been acting weird lately." I said, grabbing Liv's hand. "Listen, wanna go grab a bite?"

"Always." She said, smiling happily.

I was so happy to see Liv. I had so much to get off my chest. She's always been good at giving advice, especially about girls. I needed my best friend more than ever.
