Imagine for Beth:
I was finally ready to go and meet Jakob. It was our 1 year anniversary and I was so excited. I didn’t know where we were going, but I trusted Jakob’s judgement that it’ll be something amazing. He had called a taxi to pick me up from my hotel, and I had just seen it pull up outside. I made my way outside and was greeted by the driver.
“Hello ma’am, I shall be talking you to your destination this evening.” He spoke in a sophisticated American accent. I thanked him and got into the taxi. After ten minutes of driving, the driver stopped underneath the phenomenal Space Needle. Yeah, that’s right. Jakob had paid for us both to go to Seattle.
I entered the doors at the bottom of it and looked around for Jakob. There was nobody around, or so I thought. I turned in the opposite direction to which I was facing to see Jakob stood there wearing a pale blue shirt with black trousers and a navy bow tie. He held a single red rose in his hand and handed it to me.
“You look beautiful.” He whispered, placing a kiss on my forehead. I blushed a little at this and took his hand.
“Thank you, you look amazing.” I replied. It’s amazing how even after being with him for one year; I still get butterflies like I did when I had a crush on him. We made our way into the lift and went up to the top floor.
Once we’d arrived up there, I could see the whole see the entire city lit up. It was beautiful. Jakob and I made our way towards the edge and I felt his arms snake around my waist.
“Beth, I love you so much.” He whispered before kissing my temple.
“I love you too Jake.” I replied, turning to him and kissing him. It was soft and delicate at first but it became more passionate. With the cool breeze and Jakob’s company, I don’t think our anniversary could have possibly been any better.
