Imagine for Tash:
Today is my first day of the summer holidays and I have gone to London to visit my brother who’s in University. I was early and had a few hours to kill, so I bought myself a tube ticket and went to Camden Market. I first entered the never ending street to see a Vans store. Obviously, I went inside and took my time browsing through the endless shelves, stacked with perfection. I didn’t really have enough money with me so I unfortunately couldn’t buy anything, so I stepped back outside into the blinding sunlight. As I made my way up the street, I saw endless shops selling knock-off Doc Martens and old band shirts. I was in my idea of heaven.
Little did I know, my day was about to get significantly better. I made my way towards the part of the market that specialized in international foods. I found one stall that sold giant pizza slices so I immediately chose to eat there. I took a seat on one of the stools whilst I waited for my food. I could hear in the background a single American voice, asking people for what sounded like directions. The male came over to me and took a seat on the stool next to me.
“Excuse me, do you have any idea where the station is?” he asked. I looked up at him and saw one of the most attractive people I have ever seen.
“Uh, yes. But it’s a little way away. I can take you there if you like? I need to head that way anyway.” I managed to spill out. The guy nodded and adjusted his black snapback that had ‘Wae Fare’ written on it.
“My name is Seb by the way.” He replied, smiling and holding his and out for me to shake.
“Tash.” I replied, returning the smile and shaking his hand.
I finished my pizza and took Seb towards the station.
We chatted about his love of skating and how he plays saxophone.
“So what kind of stuff are you into?” he asked, meeting my eyes again.
“Eating, sleeping, Harry Potter, that’s it really.” I replied.
“Sweet! I’m actually going to King’s Cross now to have my picture taken at platform 9 ¾. Wanna join me?” he asked with hope in his glittery blue eyes. I still had time to kill so why not?
“Yeah, sure! Sounds great!” I told him and he grinned at me.
We spent most of that day together, we went into the 9 ¾ shop and he insisted on buying our photo twice, one copy for both of us. As our time together drew to an end, Seb and I exchanged numbers and agreed to hang out again while we were both in London. He seems like a really awesome guy that takes interest in everything I do, I sure hope we keep in touch.
