Chapter 6

Ashley's P.O.V

It's the first day of school. I'm so excited and at the same time nervous.

Eventually, Cassie and I will be on the same class and I'm really happy because that will make my plan even better.

I wish that we can have new friends because I really want to start a new life. A new me, A new Ashley.

Well.. Cassie has decided to tell them the truth so that makes my life easier.

So tomorrow morning, me and Cassie will talk to them and we'll explain to the boys the reason why she lied to them. I hope that they won't get mad at her.

If they forgive Cassie and they will be back as "my personal slave" I mean suitors, I could use them to make Zach Anderson jealous.

Hahaha! Zach Anderson? Jealous?
Pfft. No way!

So yesterday I talked to Cassie for any suggestions or warnings. Well she's kinda obsessed with Zach the devil and I need more information about him.

She told me to be more careful especially when he's flirting because he's really good with that. She said that all the girls are "in love with him" A.K.A (they are in love with him because of his looks) well except for me because I do really hate him. A lot.

Like what the heck?! He's not even handsome. Who am I kidding? Of course he's handsome but I won't admit that to him or to anybody.

So I don't need to dress up for school because basically Cassie and Cathy help me with that a while ago inside the mall. I just need to prepare my things for school.

"ASHLEY, CASSIE'S HERE!" mom called. Cassie is like a family to us. We treat her as a member of our family. We've been best friends since third grade and because her parents are dead, dad and mom became her parent ever since.

You might ask me, if she's a member of our family then why is she not living with us? You really wanna know why?

Because she wants to fulfill her parents last wish. She told me that her parents wants her to be the next owner of their company that's the reason why she's a straight-A student.

Well about her house, she doesn't want to live with us because she said that all the remaining memories of her parents are there and she doesn't want to sell her house cause she's like selling her parent's memories to other people.

Seeing Cassie suffer from her parents death makes me want to be with her as a friend of course.

That is why when I found out that Zach hurt my best friend I really got mad at him. That's the reason why I forgave her immediately when she told me her darkest deepest secret.

Okay honestly I felt betrayed. I was hurt of course. But I don't give a damn about what other people says about me. I've been bullied by a lot of people already and I built up my walls so it will just bounce off. I won't let them destroy me.

I was never the popular kind of student in our school but a lot of people know me because I joined a lot of singing contest and I won hundreds of times already. But I never used that to become popular.

I don't need their attention in order for me to be happy or to feel satisfied.

I never understand those who wants to be popular and would do anything just to be on top. I mean yeah there are times that they will recognize you of what you did whether its right or wrong. But I believed that in this world there will be ups and down so it is impossible to be on top forever.

As for me, life is simple but it's really complicated. Sometimes you are happy sometime you are not. You just have to accept the trials and problems that life will give you.

It's like we're in a game and if you give up you'll lose but if you try your best, there is a chance you will win the game and that's what I'm doing, I will not give up and I will try my very best to make Zach Anderson suffer for what he did to Cassie.

I don't wanna see Cassie cry again. She's been through a lot already and I don't want her to suffer more and I. Ashley Gates, will protect her.

Hello lovely men and women :) Sorry for the late update well those who check my status on my profile you know the reason why I updated late. So for those doesn't know, me and my dad went to Cagayan De Oro it is somewhere in the Philippines.

So we went there for vacation and it was really fun and yeah to cut the long story short I went there and sadly there's no internet connection there. So now I'm back here in Manila I can update now.

Uhuh.. Uhuh I know this story is really short but honestly my head is aching (yeah I have a headache) and I cannot write properly because I just arrived here and I a have a terrible jet lag so I just want to apologize to everyone. Hope you all understand :)
