Chapter 38

(Though I wish I could be such an amazing writer as the writer of Teen Wolf!!!) I do own my characters such as Emily and her friend Stephanie because I created the two girls.

Chapter 38:

--Scott's POV:

I woke up around three in the morning to Emily's racing heart. She was sweating and taking very sharp breaths. Before I could react her eyes snapped open and a soft scream escaped her lips. She jumped when she saw me, obviously forgetting I was here in the first place.

"Em. What's wrong?" I asked concerned.

"That dream." She whispered while taking a deep breath.

"The nightmare?"

She nodded her head. "I haven't had it in forever, not since that night before school started."

I watched her sympathetically. She looked terrified but also relieved that it was only a dream and not real life. I squeezed her tightly and looked down at her.

"Well just try to relax and get some more sleep. Just wake me up if you need anything ok?"

She smiled slightly then closed her eyes; her heartbeat began slowing down to a normal pace. It wasn't long before she was asleep but I couldn't fall back asleep myself. I had so much on my mind. Well I only had my mind on one thing, my sister and Derek. How did I not notice it before? Every time I was with Derek, I could smell our house on him and now I know exactly why. He was here with her.

For the rest of the night I sat there with Em in my arms, thinking about everything. Sleep was no longer an option anymore. My ears perked up every once in a while from a noise outside but every time I would realize it was just the officer doing his job.

The sunlight began to pour through the windows, indicating it was now morning time. I sighed, realizing how tired I was going to be now with the lack of sleep. I couldn't help but notice the sound of another car pulling up in the driveway.
