TILL WE MEET AGAIN
October 29th
A day I won't forget
We started walking home
When I started feeling sick
We saw the cop car
And knew something was wrong.
Walked in and they told us that you were gone
We couldn't believe it, no it wasn't true
But sure enough there was no mistaking it was you.
The days went by in a blur, the numbness had spread.
You can hear the hearts breaking
lots of tears were shed
We waited for you by your door, hoping you'll walk out.
We were left disappointed, when you're room was left vacant.
We ended up burying you, and visited you often.
We would talk, and clean you up, even sometimes play music.
We learned to live without you but in our hearts we yearn to hear your voice.
To see you smile or laugh at us.
This isn't goodbye, just a till we meet again
Because we know that family is never separated
We'll see each other again.
