Words that may or may not make sense (A not so poetic series)

Is it worth it?

Is it worth it?
I can't think of the any number to that will do justice to adding a value to the number of times I've asked myself this question.
Is anything ever worth it ?
Will the smiles compensate for the pain if I let one person in ?
Or will the pain get worse ?
So yet again I ask myself the question is it worth it?
Will making any of these decisions have any form of positive impact on me or my life?
Is it worth it to give my all and get very little in return?
Is it worth it to want it all knowing you might not get it anyways ?
Is it all worth it to admit to things you'd rather not say because of fear of how it will end?
Afterall it all ends the same.
Is it worth it to even care ?
Is it worth it?
