Highschool is such a scary place. There's mean teachers, bullies, and bad grades. You learned to live with it for awhile.
Your parents decided to transfer you to a public school for your last year in highschool. Well, it was your mom's decision. She wanted you to have a new start and all that stuff.
School wasn't the only thing that worried you. Your dad sometimes tends to harm you when you aren't doing your best or don't get enough money for the family.
You see, your father lost his job and decided he's done forever which left you and mom to clean up his mess. You try and get as many hours of work in as you can to help support your family.
You had it rough at him. It's not like school was a walk in the park either. You always had to deal with bullies and teacher who lecture you about working more hard. Bit they will never understand. And you've learned to live with that. Hopefully public school will be better.
You got out of the car and stared at your school. Survey Corps Highschool. You sighed and then looked back at your mom.
"I know but this year will be better. I promise. Now have a good day sweetie I need to get to work," she said and then drove off.
You were about thirty minutes early which you didn't mind. You had to get your locker, pick up a schedule, and help navigate yourself throughout the school. You walked up to the from office and headed inside.
"Hello There! How may we help you," a brown hair chick with glasses asked.
"I'm new here so I came to pick up my schedule," you said softly.
"Alright! You must be (y/n) (l/n) then. Nice to meet ya. Here's your schedule and I hope you enjoy going to school here. My name is Hange if you need anything," she said and smiled.
You nodded and then walked out of the office and began to wander around. You soon found your locker and opened it, beginning to organize it.
"Hey. I've never seen you here before. Who the heck are you," a voice behind you said.
You closed your locker and looked behind you to see a girl about your age standing there. She seemed to look like she was apart of the 'popular' group.
"I'm new here. My names (y/n). I transferred here from the Military Corps highschool," you said trying to be friendly.
"Well no one likes a smart alec, (y/n)," the girl hissed. "Just stay put of my way and we're good." She then walked off sassily.
"I hate bullies," you muttered and then the bell rung so you headed to your first class. Chemistry.
You walked in and sat down in the back corner trying to make no human interaction with anyone. Then all the sudden a long bland hair boy sat down beside you and gave you a kind smile.
"Hi there. My names Armin. I haven't seen you around here before," Armin said.
"I transferred here from the Military Corps private school," you said.
"Oh wow. That's cool that you went there. Why did you leave," Armin asked curiously.
"Well, my mom wanted me to have a fresh new start and I wanted to get away from some bullies but I guess every school has bullies," you said and sighed.
"You get bullied too huh," Armin said and rubbed the back of his neck.
"Wait! You do too. But you're so nice," you said.
"And smart. That's why they tease me. And I seem weak in their eyes," Armin said.
"You understand me! Be my best friend please," you said.
Armin chuckled. "Alright best friend. Want to sit with my friends and I at lunch," he asked.
"Yes. And thank you for the offer," you said and then class started.
I finally finished writing it! Yay! Enjoy!
