Of course after that school seemed to fly by and the next thing you knew it was December. Christmas season which meant Christmas break. Yeah!
You all were doing secret Santa at Marco's house and then you sleepover afterwards. Everyone was going to be there. You got Armin for your secret Santa thing so it was easy. Basically books.
You wondered who had you. Jean already told you he got Marco so it wasn't him. You huffed in frustration as you began to think.
"Do your thinking somewhere else. I'm trying to read," Armin said.
"Fine...I'm going out," you stated and then walked out of the door.
You walked around outside and stretched out your arms. You then ran into someone and fell back on your butt.
"Ow," you muttered and then looked to see who it was.
"Sorry (y/n). Let me help you up," it was Eren
"Thanks. What are you doing out here," you asked as he helped you stand back up.
"Secret Santa. Shh," Eren said and chuckled.
You chuckled as well. "Alright. See you at the party tomorrow."
"Oh yeah. Christmas eve tomorrow. It's going to be fun," Eren said and smiled.
"Eren. There you are. You ran off," Mikasa said running over.
"That's because in secret Santa you don't go shopping with others," Eren states. "Anyway, see you later (y/n)."
They then walked off and you walked around a bit more before it decided to snow. You walked down the sidewalk and then stopped when you recognised the surroundings.
You were standing in the place where Jean had admitted his feelings when you were walking home. You smiled to yourself a bit and then heard someone approaching.
"I'm not surprised you're here as well," they said and you turned to see Jean.
"It's the Christmas spirit guiding us," you stated jokingly.
"It was a sad yet happy memory here," he said and wrapped his arms around you from behind and rested his chin on your shoulder. "That day was when I tried out for football, you lost your job, had an emotional breakdown, and then I declared my love for you."
"Yeah. Good ole memories," you said and smiled.
He kissed your cheek and hugged you tighter. "I love you."
"I love you too," you said and turned around and kissed him and he kissed you back, holding you close.
