You went to a burger joint for lunch because why not. The burgers there are really tasty and so are the fries. Even the veggie burgers were pretty good. Anyway, you guys are together, talked, joked around, and over all had fun.
"I can pay for it," you said and went for the check but he beat you to it. "Hey!"
"Nope. I'm paying and don't even try arguing," Jean said and you stuck your tongue out at him. He chuckled and then paid for the meal.
You both then headed out and walked over to the park to hang out. You went over and sat beside the fountain.
"Want to make a wish," Jean asked as he pulled out a quarter.
"Sure but you make yours first," you replied.
He nodded and then threw the coin into the fountain and smiled. He then handed you a quarter as well.
You thought for moment and then tossed in the quarter. You smiled a bit.
"Alright," you said and stood up stretching. "Where next?"
"I'm not sure," he said and stood up.
You began to think but because you were clumsy and all you stepped back and fell into the fountain. Boy that water was cold.
Jean stared in shock and then raced to help you out. He pulled you out. "You okay?"
"I'm so cold now," you whined.
"Here. I'll warm you up," he said and then handed you his jacket.
You put on his jacket and then he hugged you from behind and rested his chin on your shoulder.
"Guess what? My wish came true," he said and chuckled.
"What?! You wished for that?" You said surprised and angered.
"No but I wished that I would be able to cuddle with you soon," he said and then pulled you closer to him.
"You're always in a cuddling mood," you said and huffed.
"Yeah but I love you," he said. "I'll take you home to get dried up."
He then picked you up bridal style and carried you back to the car. You blushed and then smiled at him.
"I love you too!"
I would like to apologize for my inactivity. Things have been crazy with school, exams, and now Christmas so I'm trying to get back in the swing of things. So new Chapters soon.
