"Come on! Pleeeeeeeease?" "No. Lela I'm not gonna get you even more ice cream. You just finished like EIGHT!" "I know that. Idiot." I mumble the last part. "What was that?" "Nothing." He didn't reapply. He just walked away.

At the mall

"God damnit. I don't wanna be here!" I whined to Sydney. "Oh shut up." I smirked she opened her mouth to say something but before she could I cut her off and said. "How do you shut the up, Sydney? I would like to know so I can fulfill your wishes." She groans and playfully hit me in the shoulder.

"Ouchys." I mimicked snake from the Simsons (AN if you don't know or watch the simsons just look up snake from the simsons or something and you'll understand)

"Omg just shut your mouth. Let's go to hot topic then forever 21 alright?!"I roll my eyes from Rachel's sudden outburst but, none the less nod.

At the house- cause I'm to lazy to write about the mall-

"THANK THE LORD! THE TORTURE IS OVER!" I yelled...... well more like screamed. "Oh hey Lela did you get dragged to the mall?" Frank asked as he walked over to us. I pouted and hanged my head low. "You poor baby! How could anyone do that to my baby? That is just torture!" He exclaimed hugging me.

"Everyone to the meeting room! Now!" Caden ordered. When we got there Nick was pacing, while Sydney looked pale as a vampire from twilight. (Jsyk I haven't watched twilight the only thing I know about it is the fact that there was vampires now back to the story.)

Sydney saw me and hugged me. She never hugs anyone. Something's up. "Can I have your attention?" Everyone went quiet. "The Dark Blood Gang has threaten to kill us and bring us down." Nick started, everyone then started whispering. "But they said on one condition they wouldn't." He paused then looked at me then back at the crowd. "They won't kill us if we give them Sydney and Maddy." He said sadly.

Everyone got mad most of them cause they always knew Sydney but also cause I got close to them. "Nick can I talk to you?........Privately?" He nodded and we headed up to his office. "Nick I know you didn't accept it but I can't let you guys get hurt so........" I looked at the ground then back up at him, them back at the ground again. "I'll go by myself. I won't let them take her we were like sisters when we met. I'm not letting my sister or family get hurt." I could already tell that he was mad without even looking at him.

"No I'm not letting you leave not AGAIN!" "Nick I have to. And you know it." "I WONT LET THEM HAVE YOU MADDY! DAMNIT IM NOT GONNA BRAKE MY PROMISE WITH YOUR MOTHER!" "I HAVE TO! Trust me I don't want to but I'm not letting you, Sydney, or anyone get hurt. Sydney needs you." I stayed quiet for a minute. "The gang needs you. Please nick just call them. Tell them that you'll only give me to them." He groaned. "Fine." He growled(?) out.

He pulled out a phone and dialed a number, I couldn't really hear what the other side said but I could sorta hear them.(Italics Dark blood gang, normal nick)

"Re-think the deal?" "Yes but I'll only agree if Sydney gets to stay." The other line was silent for a moment. "Alright I go with that we'll pick  her up in tomorrow." Nick the hung up. I walked over to him, and hugged him. He was startled at first but then hugged me back. *knock* *knock* "What happe-" Sydney cut herself off when she saw we were hugging. Her eyes teared up.

"Dads what's gonna happen?" Nick sighed. "Maddy'sgoingwiththemtomorrow." "Nick." I gave him the most deadliest glare I could. "Maddy may or may not be going with the tomorrow?"

Sydney looked as if she wanted to burst into tears. "I'll leave two alone." Once nick was out and the door was closed Sydney ran into my arms. "Don't leave me Maddy! Please."

She sobbed into my shoulder. I sighed and pulled her off me momentarily. "Sydney. I have to I'm not gonna let my family get hurt again. Especially not you." She looked up at me confused. "Sydney. I realized that we were gonna be best friends maybe even sisters, the moment nibor said you were crazy." (A\N: Nibor is maddy's mom her name is robin, nibor is robin spelled backwards.)
