Chapter Eighteen

Laurens pov
As I wake up groaning to someone rubbing my head I open my eyes and see my sister Robin I had ruffly I try pushing her away but it's no use I look at her as she looks at me in the eyes and gives me a small smile then softly speaks. "Hey... I need to head to college and the doctor said that you're OK to wander around the hospital as long as you stay in and you'll be able to come home later on tonight when I get back OK? I love you so much please.... please I beg of you.... don't do anything stupid I need you in my life I'm not losing anyone else.... I love you so much....." I nod in agreement as she kisses my head before leaving. "I'll be back around 8/9 possibly..." She said walking out the door and she was gone.
Sitting in the hospital room by myself I look around I'm covered in stuffed animals the flowers smell nice and the outside looks so beautiful I take in this most beautiful site but also it's quiet just too quiet and all I hear is my own heart beating on this monitor maybe I can just take some time to relax until the nurse comes in for another check up and then hopefully I get something to eat really bad closing my eyes taking small breaths. Then all of a sudden Jefferson randomly crosses my mind last time I saw him I remember just him in college so tall.... and so perfect.... especially in the office that he picks...... I think he might be Pan....? The beeps of the moderators start racing and going faster I realize that with my own heartbeat spitting up for what reason? Why is this happening? What is this feeling? Damn am I f-
"Mr. Jack are you OK I came here soon as I heard the heart monitor going off is everything OK are you home do you need a drink are you hungry I'm here to assist you and your sister made it very clear to me what I have to do would you like to get up and walk around we have some crutches or wheelchair that you can use?" I nod slightly in agreement to what she says "I would like some food and a couple water please and thank you then after I'm done eating I would love to get up and walk around I also have a question for when you return." She smiles and nods walking out of the room. Once again what this feels room or start relaxing again I should be thinking about him he's not really important but what they said is true about him break my fall he must've been at the bottom to catch me.
