You are now annoyed once again, turns out you don't even get your own room in this dump. You have to share your precious space with some orphaned girl.
Fucking great.
"This is Baby 5~!" Linlin smiling widely as she introduces you to your little roommate, a petite girl with a bow in her purple hair. You're already dying on the inside, the girl looks like a goody-two-shoes. "Baby 5, this is [F/n]~!"
This is so going to fucking suuuck dongggg...
"...Your name is really Baby 5?" You question bluntly, the number confusing you a little. It seems to you like something you'd name a clone. The girl shyly nodding her head in response and causing your brows to knit together tightly. "Baby...5?"
She doesn't even speak? Is this girl some sort of robot? If so, I might be able to find an off switch and have this room all to myself...
"My name is Baby 5, yes~!" She suddenly chimes, sounding somewhat excited but still nervous. A tiny smile on her lips as she claps her hands together. "Doflamingo gave me the name~!"
The guy who owns this shithole?
"She was found at a very young age." Linlin clarifies as she gently rubs the young girl's back, her eyes looking a little saddened. This woman might look like a rottweiler but she sure has that motherly nature about her when it comes to these kids.
Still, they could've put more effort into the girl's name. Jerks.
"I'm just gonna call you Babe." You bluntly state, at this point you're merely seeing what the boundaries are and how much you can get away with before they try to scold you. Apparently, disrespecting Doflamingo's naming skills isn't so bad though.
The young girl before you just smiles as brightly as the sun, a pale blush spreading across her cheeks as she excitedly hops on her toes. "I love it~! Miss Charlotte, sh-she nicknamed me~! Does it make us friends~?"
Hell no.
"I believe it does, dear~!" Linlin chimes kindly, a sincere and almost...cute smile gracing her lips before she turns on her heel and makes her way toward the door that exits your new bedroom. "You two should get more acquainted since you'll be living like sisters for a while, I better get some groceries for dinner~! Let Thatch know if there's anything you need~!"
I'm not being friends with this Baby 5 girl, she's too innocent!
"So, what you wanna do~?" The purple-haired sweetheart asks, looking somewhat nervous again as she twiddles her thumbs, the very action admittedly makes you want to protect her. A small huff leavings your lips before an idea springs to mind.
"I want to learn everyone's names and personalities here~!"
I want to find my kind of people.
The girl immediately complies though, happily spurting over how she's finally needed or whatever as she leads you down the stairs and towards some double doors opening into the backyard.
"These are the sporty boys, they're popular with the girls that come here because they have nice muscles~!" Baby 5 (or Babe) informs as she points to each of the men, the first having green hair. "That's Zoro, he's the one that most of the ladies screech over but he doesn't seem emotionally available...I've tried."
Oh. Girl, I'm sorry to hear that.
"And that one is Ace." She chimes as her finger shifts to a shirtless boy with dark hair and freckles, he's doing some sort of taunt by the looks of it because he was able to get the ball into the basket despite having Zoro and a blonde guy trying to block his shot. "He's really nice, I like Ace!"
He looks like a show-off...
"And that's his brother, Sabo." The girl now pointing toward the blonde guy who tried to block Ace's shot, he looks very upperclass, even in his basketball outfit. "He's really nice too, he used to hold my hand to cross the roads when he was younger~! He grew up here but was adopted by Newgate, he's back here now because Newgate is overseas~!"
Wait, wait...overseas?
"Is he Thacth's brother?" You question as the earlier conversation with Linlin sparks up in your head, you've heard about one of the brothers that Thatch has who helps keeps things in check. But you had assumed that he was older, around Thatch's age.
"One of them, yes~!"
ONE OF THEM?
"Ace, Sabo and Luffy are the youngest and Thatch and Marco are the oldest~!" You can hear Baby 5 speaking but you're just a little slow on connecting the dots, your eyes flickering between Ace and Sabo who are still playing basketball together, seemingly unaware that they're being pointed at but then...if they're popular with girls, they're probably used to it.
But adoption explains it, they don't look a lot alike...
"Oh, that one is Luffy by the way!" Baby 5 adds, pointing to the smallest player of the 2 v 2 basketball game, he's quick though...and loud. Yelling at Ace to pass to him and only being ignored in the process, poor boy.
Well, he and Ace look a lot alike...
"So...is the green-haired guy their brother too?"
"Zoro? Nah, he's just an orphan like us~! He says he loves it here though, he must be craaazy~!" Baby 5 giggles as she gently takes your wrist and tugs you along with her. "I'll show you the girls now~!"
Oh joy, girls...
Despite your usual hatred for other females, you still follow Babe as she guides you to the dining room where the other girls are gathered. Looks like they're playing a game of spin the bottle; truth or dare.
"Truth~!" One of the girls grin smugly before guzzling a large glass of water that was sat beside her. You recognize that girl from earlier, that's the one who was plaiting Thatch's hair.
What's her name again? And why is she drinking so much water?
"Why truth~? Scared you'll have to eat more hot sauce~?" A girl with pink hair snickers subtly, going completely ignored since her friend is still busy drinking enough of her drink to make herself burst.
Well, that explains it.
"The one with the water is Koala." Baby 5 unknowingly reminding you of the girl's name as she points toward the strawberry blonde. The two females playing with her now looking up at the purple-haired cutie curiously. Thankfully, they don't look like the typical mean girls at least.
"The one with pink hair is Bonney," As Baby 5's finger meets the pinkette, Bonney sends you a subtle wave and her purple eyes looking you up and down as if she's trying to figure out what kind of person you are.
One that doesn't like being read, send your eyes elsewhere, girl.
"And this one is Nami~!" Baby 5 finally pointing toward an orange-haired girl with brown eyes, she's smiling at you but she looks somewhat wary, as if she's expecting you to launch a chair at her or something.
"Oh, this is [F/n]~!" Your new roommate decides to introduce you since you've caught their eye, they all smile politely which surprises you since most girls you've met are complete assholes. "She's new here~!"
"Hi~!" They both greet whilst Koala is still too busy drinking every last drop of her water, the two still staring at you. It's starting to get a little creepy. Thankfully, you're pulled along once again by Baby 5, she leads you toward...shouting.
Why shouting? What the fuck is that?
"These guys are trouble so I'd stay away from them if I were you~!" Babe chimes playfully before taking you into the kitchen. There's three guys here and they all looking...interesting. All three of them are gathered around a broken ordainment, all too busy blaming each other for the vandalism to notice you and Baby 5 standing there.
Now these guys look like my kind of friends...
