Arranged Love

Astrid walked into throne room, ready to meet her new husband. She walked to her father and smiled lightly.
"Hello, father."
Her father nodded and ordered for her to stand next to him as Odin and Loki walked into room.
Loki was annoyed. Why did his father made him marry some woman he never met? He looked up at king Freyr and then his eyes fell on a beautiful girl next to him. She was the most beautiful girl he ever laid eyes on.
King Freyr stood up and smiled.
"Welcome, king Odin and prince Loki. This is my daughter, Astrid."
Astrid smiled and felt her cheeks blush under the gaze of young prince Loki.
Freyr smiled.
"Odin, you and I are going to talk, let children get to know each other. Come on."
Loki walked to Astrid and took her hand placing light kiss on her knuckles. Astrid smiled at prince.
"Astrid."
Loki smiled and nodded.
"Loki."
Astrid's smile widened and she took his hand.
"Let's go."
She pulled him after her towards library.
Loki looked around, it was as big as his library but he saw a couple of books that he still needed to read.
Astrid looked up at him.
"You can take whatever you like."
Loki looked down and smiled.
"Thank you. Will you join me?"
Astrid giggled.
"Of course."
The two sat down and started reading. Both of them in their own worlds until they needed to eat.
Both kings and their children sat down to eat. Odin looked at Loki.
"After dinner, three of us are leaving. In two days will be the wedding in Asgard."
Astrid nodded and smiled.
"Yes, king Odin."
Loki nodded and his eyes immediately moved to Astrid. She smiled at him gently, her eyes shining.
After dinner Astrid hugged her father and smiled.
"I'll miss you."
Freyr nodded and patted her hand.
"I will miss you too."
As Astrid sat in her own room in Asgard palace. On her bed sat flowers that Loki brought her and a small note Sweet dreams ~Loki
Maybe being here won't be that bad.
