"why is she avoiding my question?" Normani said allowed.
"Really?!-" Normani jumped at the sudden words spoken behind her, but figured out it was only Lauren. "She just said she was going to save a fish from drowning and you're worried about a little question?!"
"So?" Normani asked. "That's not physically possible, so you should be worrying about that poor fish's health, and how she plans on drowning it. Not some dumb question that not important."
Lauren then walked upstairs to her bedroom, no longer finding interest in the conversation. Normani walked into her room and slid into her bed, hugging her pillow as if it was going to leave her.
'But it's important to me.' she said letting a tear slip from her eye.
