Ch.1

I sit down in front of a group of children and smile
"Now I will tell you all a story about my parents and how they returned life to this kingdom" I watch as all of them rush to sit down in front of me eager to hear the story after they are all settled I begin "Mother always used to tell me stories about when she met my father. She said that she had hated him at first but after she had come to trust him she soon found that she loved him. And she often told me that it was difficult for her to even keep her eyes off of him, but I don't think that you want to hear me ramble about that so I'll tell you their story. It all began like any other day, mother had just left her home to patrol the island like she always had only this time..."

[Kalla pov]
I walk out of my small home in the shaded forest and breath in the morning air my almost transparent wings materialize and I take flight.
After a few minutes of flying i get to the desert plains on the other side of the island spotting debris from what looks like a ship wreck I get closer to the ground and see what looks like a person. I huff and land a few feet away from what i can now see is a man laying on his stomach in the sand. I sigh and walk over to him.

I crouch down near him and check for a pulse, finding it I stand up and look around. "I suppose that his ship had crashed in the storm surrounding the island" I sigh 'i could either leave him here to die or I can take him to my place to find out why his ship was so close to the island' I look at him then look up at the sky I whistle a small tune and wait. Upon hearing the tune repeated back to me I see a large blue Phoenix fly down and land next to me.

The large bird lowers his head and I pet him. "Hello sloth" I run my hands gently over his wings "Have you seen cloud or storm around today" I ask him.
-No I have not seen either of them today- Sloth replies calmly.
I pat his head "I see, well help me get this man to my home I wish to speak with him when he awakes " Sloth nods while picking him up with his large talons and flies in the direction of my home.

I fly after them and i land after a few minutes. "Sloth you can set him down under that tree there" I point to the large tree next to my home. Sloth lowers the man to the ground under the tree then flies off. My wings dissipate and I climb into the tree so I can watch him.

When night draws near I look at the always present stars and sigh. I single out one star that stands out the most to me then close my eyes and say a few choice words to the dead. Once I finish I lean back against the tree and fall into a light peaceful sleep.

«timeskip to the next morning»

[Unknown PoV]
I wake up and rub my head "geez my head hurts, what happened and" I sit up and look around "where am i" I ask my self silently. I stand up slowly leaning on the tree for support.

[Kalla's PoV]
Hearing movement on the ground below me I jump down from the tree. I scowl at the man standing in front of me. "Who are you"

[Unknown PoV]
I jump slightly when I see a girl land in front of me a scowl on her face 'she's pretty' I get pulled from my daze when I hear her speak. "Who are you" she asks. Upon hearing the foreign words I pause in confusion not because I don't know what she had said but because I somehow knew what she had asked me. "My names dontay, may I ask your name?" I watch as a confused look spreads across her face and not a second later I find myself looking at her eyes. Her beautiful crimson eyes seem to swirl with flames, she glares at me with a burning anger and I feel a shiver go up my spine. 'Scary '

[Kalla's PoV]
'what the hell there's no way' I hold back a growl as I glare at him. 'why was it him' Seeing him watching me I cross my arms and growl "forget about my name I want to know why you are on this island, how you got here and how the hell you can understand me!"
He pauses then rubs the back of his head "Well I don't really know how to answer those questions cause well I don't really know the answers to them" he tells me.
I resist slamming my head into the tree and rub my forehead instead. 'great' I sigh "well you can't stay here because if I'm not always with you the animals here will kill you though at least then I wont have to worry about getting you off this island"
Upon hearing me he freezes but then smiles a little. "So your worried about me huh" he says.
I pause then scowl "That's not what I meant you dumb ass!" I turn and start walking away.

[Dontay's PoV]
I watch her start to walk away so I look around nervously "i-ill come with you" I run after her not wanting to be left behind. 'i don't think she was lying when she said I would be attacked'

[Kalla's PoV]
"So what's your name" dontay asks me.
I sigh "Thats not information that you need to know" he slows to a walk when he gets to my side. 'how did I get stuck babysitting'
We continue walking in silence and I catch him staring at me every few minutes. 'Honestly all his staring is starting to get creepy '
We walk to the plains then I stand there calmly as I wait my eyes occasionally scanning the surrounding area.

[Dontay's PoV]
After a half hour of waiting for something I sit down and groan "its so hot" I look at the mysterious girl standing beside me her arms crossed 'she hasn't even moved an inch sense we got here, how is she not at least hot yet.....well I take that back she's been hot sense before I met her' I grin to myself. "Hey uh red I can call you that can't i" I see her glance at me for not even a second then turn her eyes away instead deciding to return to what she was doing previously. Assuming it's ok I speak to her again "So red is it alright if I take my shirt off , i'm getting a bit overheated"
After half a minute of silence she responds "I don't care"
I grin "thanks" I take my shirt off and tie it around my waist. I fall back and lay in the tall grass my hands behind my head. 'i don't know why but i feel completely calm and relaxed and.....I feel as if i'm home'

Yay I finished

I combined chapters 1, 2 and part of chapter 3 together. I think I fixed everything.
Im going to start on chapter 2 now
