Having let herself down after an operation with the Shadow Alliance and through Shirley and Christian's loving support, Sylvia began to keep herself occupied with a regular routine in evening runs, working out in the gym, and later resuming her studies for her bachelor's degree, as well as her soccer team training sessions in hopes to move past the weakness. Soon after, the Golden Millennial Academy girls were invited to participate in a league championship against 21 other colleges and universities across the United States, with everyone in the team agreeing to participate, including Sylvia herself.

Miss Heather saw Sylvia return to form in training, while Sylvia also kept focused in her studies and continued to do well like she did last semester. 4 and a half months passed, and Sylvia scored herself another Dean's List Award with a stunning 3.98 GPA, complementing her 3.91 GPA from her previous semester. In terms of her extra-curricular activities, her soccer team was leading the league championship after 13 games with 11 wins and 2 draw. Adding to this record was Sylvia putting in at least 2 goals per match, with her tally up to 30 for the season so far.

A week after Sylvia got her academic results, her parents came home from their long vacation, and they went out together with Sylvia and Marcus as a family for dinner. Sylvia's mother and father told their kids all about their trip to various countries such as Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Germany, Norway and Greece. Sylvia meanwhile shared her experiences with the Shadow Alliance, her academics and her time with the Golden Millennial Academy Girls. Marcus also had his fair share of experiences to share with everyone.

During Sylvia's spare time, she would go running in her local park. She even attended MMA classes to sharpen up her fighting skills, and these classes were sponsored by none other than Shirley. Away from all her physical activities, Sylvia would go out with Christian on dates like they used to before the winter, enjoying each other's company to the fullest as always.

"I missed this. Just you and I together," Sylvia told Christian as they were walking hand-in-hand in one of the famous parks in Los Angeles. They then sat on one of the benches to take a short break.

"Yeah I know. It's been awhile since I've felt your company too," Christian told Sylvia back.

"Do you think we can be together forever, Chris?" Sylvia asked Christian.

"I will be around for as long as you want me to, Sylvia," Christian replied and kissed Sylvia's cheek. Sylvia blushed.

"Chris, I... You know, there's something I want to tell you."

"Hm? What is it Sylvia?"

"I thought I'd let you know that even after 2 years, I always still feel at my best whenever I'm with you, aside from being with Shirley. I mean, you're so loving and caring that I wonder why didn't someone already ask you out before."

"Well, it never crossed my mind honestly. But whatever it's come to today, I just want you to know that I'm happy too whenever I'm with you," Christian said to Sylvia while smiling.

"Chris..." Sylvia said smiling. "I'm really happy whenever I'm with you. I just want you to know that," she said as she looked ahead. "I couldn't have asked for a better boyfriend than you."

"Sylvia," Christian said and smiled as he reached for something in Sylvia's rear pocket of her jeans, to which Christian pulled out a square box roughly about 30 centimetres on each side with about 4 centimetres in thickness, wrapped in a yellow and gold packaging.

"Chris, no way! How did you do that?!" Sylvia exclaimed.

"A magician never reveals his tricks," Christian winked before handing the present to Sylvia.
