Icy winds
I cannot see
No longer can they
see through me
Close my eyes and
start to pray
Frozen night and
frozen day.
Frigid mist and
black ice skies
Angels singing
battle cries
Chilling whispers
pierce the night
Hush the dark, but
drench the light
Howling silence
Choking white
Dying embers,
weary fight
Trembling, trembling
curse, unsaid
hanging, hanging
by a thread
Slowly falling
time and space
Crystal tears
upon my face
Glitters drifting
in the air
Beauty foul,
foul fair
Gentle spiral
Such still flakes
Now and always
quite awake
Softly white and
shadow grey
Frozen night and
frozen day
