I sleep on her couch. Her mum doesn't know that I'm here because she is working at Nashville for the next few weeks. That gives me enough time to get my shit together, well I hope.

"I made you a coffee." Gracie comes over with an oversized cup. I love when she does that.
"Thanks. And thanks for letting me stay. Even after I said those shitty things. I was a jackass and I'm sorry." And I truly meant it too.
"It doesn't matter now. So are you going to tell me what happened? Last night when you called me?"
"Well I have a job interview thing in, well about an hour. Brandie didn't want me to go because a random guy said I would be a perfect fit."
"I think your right to be angry. But this guy is a random and it could be anything. She is just worried about you. What is this job anyway?"
"Well, I don't know..."
"Okay, yes she definitely has a right to be pissed and protective. Look, Charlie, we aren't in Australia now. Bad shit happens everyday in New York. He could be a rapist for all you know." They way she says it, makes me realise what I have gotten myself into.

"Yeah your right. I don't think I should go."
"But... Now I really want to know what it is."
"But didn't you just..."
"Yes I did, but he won't be expecting both of us to go and if one of us gets in trouble we can call for help."
"Well, I don't know."
"C'mon, like the good old times."
She really has a way of twisting your arm to get you to do something. She has always been like that.
"Fine let's go."

We go. Gracie has her license so we drive. I didn't notice the other day, but she has changed her hair style. It now sweeps over her forehead instead of it falling backward. It really brightens her skin tone.

It wasn't a long drive. We are sitting in front of a huge building. It had a huge sign saying Nick Greys Modelling Careers. I have a mini heart attack whereas Gracie beside me is screaming.
"You didn't tell me you met Nick Grey?"
"I met a guy named Nick, I didn't know it was Nick Grey."

Nick Grey was the biggest male model in the world, until he made his company to train up more models. It is huge money too. Cara Delevingne we made it big from Nick Grey. I am so excited.

"Okay you go. I'm staying here. You are so lucky." Gracie was so excited. She was the biggest fan of Nick Grey when we lived in Australia.
"Good luck."

I walk in and I am so nervous.
"Hi how can I help you?" The lady at the desk asked me. She sounded nice but you could tell she was a snobby bitch.
"Hi, I'm Charlie. Nick asked me to come in today..." I try to keep talking but I hear a handsome voice coming from a door to my left.
"Hello Charlie. I see you have met our front desk lady."
"Um, it seems so." I don't feel nervous anymore. Nick just gets me, I can feel it.
"Don't trust her though, she can be a total bitch." He whispers into my ear. His breath is warm.
"Ok Charlie, follow me. I didn't catch your last name yesterday."
"It's Rose. Charlie Rose."
"That is a gorgeous name. My name is Nicholas Scott Grey and but everyone calls me Nick or occasionally dickhead."
That made me giggle. I don't think I was supposed to laugh though. Calling someone dickhead for a nickname is mean.

"Come with me Charlie to meet everyone. Oh and p.s, you got the job."

We walk down a long corridor with doors on both sides of me. They have golden stars with models names on them. We soon stop. I see and empty star.

"This will be your office/room type thing. You can get changed in her or do you paper work, so on."
"Is it a coincidence that is right across the corridor from your room?" I have a smile on my face.
"Oh look at that, it is, isn't it?" I can't help but laugh. He is such a dick. I know why they call him dickhead now.

"When we finish our tour, you can settle in."

We keep waking down the wide, white hall. It is so light. It makes this place so big.

We reach the end of the hallway. We are now in a huge room full of runways, and lots of people.

"These are the practice runways. If you have a performance coming up or your modelling new products, clothes whatever, you come here."
This place is massive. It has in total 5 runways and I see so many famous people walking in the most glamorous clothing.

"And here we have our star model. Gigi, meet Charlie. She will be starting with us."

It's Gigi Hadid and I am having a mini heart attack. She has been my favourite celebrity for the longest time.

"Hi Charlie, you probably know me. I'm Gigi Hadid."
"H-hi, Ni-nice to meeeeet yo-you."
I can't help but stutter, I have loved Gigi for the longest time.
"On with the grand tour. See you later Gigi."

We continue. Nick shows me the common room, just a room where everyone hangs out and he showed me the honours board. It where all the biggest models, male and female, are awarded for being the most popular or famous models of that year. Last year it was Hailey Baldwin. Some day, I really want to be on the honour board, it would be great. It would take a lot of hard work though.

"That is the end of the tour. Now you may roam around and settle in. Now, don't be nervous, everyone hear is really nice and they are all really excited to meet the hot new lesbian." I giggle, I couldn't help. He is such a dick.
"Watch it buddy, see you later."
"Before you go, hear is your roster and your agent. Her name is Brooke Evans and it is her first time being an agent. She works at Global Agency, located next to Starbucks." He winks at me and walks off. I have a stupid smile on my face. I can't go for him I have Brandie. I can't.

I walk to my room when I find a man screwing a plague into my door. It's my name. Charlie Rose is written on a door at the biggest modelling company in America, maybe even the world. It doesn't feel real until now.

When he is done, I walk in and the space is huge. To my right is a huge desk with a mirror that is covered in light bulbs. Like the ones models use. I am a model. The thing that really catches my eye is the new iPhone that I see on my desk. I read the box and it is an iPhone X. I can't help but gasp. I really can't believe that they have me a new phone, seeing as my iPhone 5 is toast.

In front of me is a huge curtain. When I open it, I see a gorgeous view of the city. Not as good as the one at my apartment but still nice. To my left is a huge wardrobe full of clothes. There is a note on the dresser:

To the dearest Charlie Rose,
All the clothes, make up and phone in this room, you personally own. You may wear them now or take them home it is up to you.
Enjoy!   Nick Greys Modelling Careers.

Today has been the best day. I have a modelling job, I got all of these things, I have met real life famous people. All I need now is a to apologise to Brandie and hope that she will forgive me.
