E L S A

It's been a couple weeks since I miraculously decided to live. We only had a month left of school and I've been working my butt off trying to catch up in everything I missed. I was sitting at the dinning table doing a paper that was due the next day when I got really hot.

I got up from my seat and went to turn down the air in the house. I didn't look at the temperature, I just wanted it to be colder. I went upstairs to put on some cooler clothing and went to finish my paper. I was finally typing the last sentence when I heard someone walk in the room.

"How are you not freezing? It's 30 degrees in here!" Jack said wrapping himself in a blanket. He was dressed in sweatpants and a sweater with thick fuzzy socks covering his feet.

"I was really hot so I turned the air down." I said, shrugging my shoulders as I packed up my school things. I was so stressed out with all of this work. I can't believe I only have a couple more assignments before I'm all caught up. I walked through the living room with my bag in hand, and placed it in the hallway by my shoes. I still hadn't cooled off, so I decided to make myself a smoothie. I walked back to the kitchen and pulled out all of the ingredients I needed. I decided that I wanted a strawberry banana smoothie, so I put everything in the blender.

"Are you okay? You look like you have a fever." Jack came over, still wrapped in his blanket from being cold. He placed the back of his hand against my head and quickly retracted it.

"El, you're burning up! Let me finish your smoothie while you go lay down on the couch?"

I nodded my head confused, but followed his instructions anyways. I didn't feel like I had a fever. Is there something wrong with me? I've been doing so well, I don't want to go back to how I was. I decided to close my eyes and breathe while Jack finished my smoothie.

"Here you go! Nice and fruity!" Jack said, coming to sit beside me. I took the beverage and downed it quickly. I've never drank anything so fast in my life. Once the drink was finished, I looked over to Jack and saw that his piercing blue eyes were staring at me, wide.

"What? I'm hot and thirsty. Is that weird?"

"No, No! Not at all! I'm still not used to seeing you want to eat so willingly now." Jack said smiling. I smiled back at him before yawning. Man, I must have worked hard on that paper. I decided to lie on Jack's shoulder and close my eyes. Before I knew it, I was fast asleep.

I opened my eyes to see that I was in the middle of some sort of forest. It was dark outside, so I was having a difficult time seeing. I stood from the damp ground and looked around. I was sitting underneath a giant tree that was ominous and wet.

"Hello?" I asked quietly. I started walking into the trees, yelling every so often. After about 10 minutes, I was in the middle of a large field. There was fog everywhere and I could barely see in front of me. I stopped and sat on the ground. There was a bunch of flowers everywhere, but they were frosted over and looked dead. I suddenly felt really cold and anxious. I wrapped my arms around my knees and looked around. It just kept getting colder.

Out of no where, I heard a dark and ominous voice.

"E  L  S  A"

I was terrified. I kept looking around quickly, trying to find where that voice was coming from. It wasn't until I looked back forwards that I jump backwards. There, in front of my face, was my mother, but she looked different. Her normally brown hair was a dull blonde shade. Her eyes were a piercing purple and her skin was a murky white. She looked so lost.

"Mom?" I asked quietly. I hadn't seen her in so long. But why am I seeing her now?

"Elsa, I'm so glad you are okay, but you need to listen to me. You are going to experience lots of changes soon. I can't tell you exactly what, but you can handle it. And you will learn how to control yourself, you have a purpose in this world. More than you ever thought you would. I'm going to leave you now. I love you, my sweet darling, and tell Anna I love her too. I'm so sorry for all of those times I would be asleep and forget about you."

I looked at my mom in confusion. What is she talking about? Why does this sound so morbid?

"I love you too mom, but why have you gone all caring on me? What's wrong? Why do you look so, ghost-like?"

She just gave me a small smile, one she would give me when I was younger. Gosh I miss her old self.

"I didn't want you to ever find out, especially in this setting, but... I'm dead. Your father took out his anger on me after you left that one day, and my tired body couldn't handle it. So here I am, telling you how important you are. You are special. Now, don't let this news keep you from living your life. I'm going to be watching over you, just how I've been throughout the last couple months. And, yes, I am the one who helped you make the decision to live." My mother responded. I just looked at her shocked. She's dead? How come I never knew?

Her form started fading away with the rest of the setting around me.

"Mom? Mom! No! Come back! I need you! You can't leave! I just got you back! Please! Come back! Mom! Mom... mom..." Everything had faded away into darkness, and all I could do was cry.

"Elsa. Elsa!" I was suddenly jolted awake. I frantically looked around and grabbed at the air, hoping I could find my mom's form.

"mom, mom, mom." I said quietly. It wasn't till I was grabbed by both of my shoulders that I snapped out of it.

"Elsa, what's wrong? You're freezing cold!" Jack said wrapping the blanket around me. I just stared wide-eyed past his form, thinking about the crazy dream I just had. Is my mom really dead? What am I supposed to learn? Does it have something to do with my weird body temperature? I need answers.

I stood from the couch and put on some shoes and walked out the door. As I was walking down the driveway, I heard footsteps coming after me. I stopped and turned to the source of the sound.

"Where are you going?" Jack asked.

"I need answers." I said bluntly.

"Answers to what?"

"I think my mother is dead." I said so quietly that Jack could barely hear me. And with that, we were both headed to a place I hadn't been to in forever. My house.

Hey there... what's up! Haven't seen you in a while! He He He... Yeah, sorry I've been gone for so long... again. I've just been in a bad mental state. It's whatever. Anyways, here is a chapter for your patience. I don't think there is going to be much more to the story, but it will definitely be jam-packed with awesome stuff... hopefully. Anyways, love you guys bunches!
