I can feel myself waking up from a deep slumber.

I squeezed my eyes tightly as soon as I tried to open them. I felt a bit of pain when I did try to open them. Deciding to rest them for a bit before I try and open my eyes again, I suddenly heard a beeping sound not far from me. What is that?

I tried to open my eyes again and found my vision was a bit blurry. So like everyone does, I rubbed my eyes using my left hand.

When everything's clear, the first thing that I saw is. . .white. White walls, white ceiling, white blanket, white bed sheet. Where the hell am I?

I glanced around observing more of my surroundings, until I saw a window on my left. The sun is shining but not as bright as the California sun. The clouds are somewhat blocking the sunlight which made me think, is it almost winter?

I smiled when I saw a bird flew and landed on the windowsill. What a beautiful sight to see. It feels so serene as I watch the bird flap its wing a bit, then tilts its head, as if looking for something. Wait. What? What am I talking about? I've gone insane! I don't think like this!

And as soon as I started to argue with myself, I heard a screech which I believe came from a door. So I glanced at my right to find a guy staring at me, jaw dropped to the floor, and wide-eyed.

"R-Riley?! Y-you're awake!" He exclaimed then he dashed towards me to give me a hug.

I didn't move. I can't move. I'm still stunned about the name he called me. Riley??

"Oh my gosh! I-I thought you're gonna die. I was so worried. The guys were worried too. They visit you every day after classes. Your sister was here too, she's been by your side ever since we called her about the accident. Oh gosh Riley. . ." He said continuously making me more confused.

What the hell is he talking about?? Accident?? What accident?? And I don't have a sister! My name's not Riley either!

"I-I'm not Riley." I managed to blurt out with my hoarse voice. Oh my god! Even my voice is different!! He stiffened after hearing me then he pulled away from the hug.

"S-stop it Riles. This isn't funny." He said and I can see confusion in his eyes even though he is smiling awkwardly.

"I'm not kidding! I'm not Riley! Who are you?" I said then he walked back a bit with his hand over his mouth.

"Y-you have a. . .a--amnesia?" He asked but more of to hisself.

"No! I don't. I'm Adrianna Perkins! I remember you now, you're mousey's friend!" I said as memories of mousey and Simon flashed into my mind.

"Stop it Riles! You're Riley! How can you not be Riley if you look like Riley??" He said worried. What did he just say?

"What?! A-are you serious?! I'm Adrianna! Where's my phone?? I need to call my dad!" I said then I tried to get up from the bed but Simon stopped me.

"Don't get up just yet! You're still weak! Hang in there, I'm gonna get the doctor!" He said then he dashed outside the room. And now that I'm in my right mind, this room is a mess! How dare they put me in this kind of room?! I'm Adrianna Perkins for fuck's sake!

But this is my chance!

I stood up from the bed but fell on it again because he's right, I'm still weak. When I looked down on my right hand, I saw that there's something attached to it. Maybe an I.V? Then an idea came to my mind. I quickly grabbed the stand where the bag of I.V. is hanging then I tried getting up using it as a support. Fucking low budget equipment!

I managed to get up and since the stand have wheels attached below it, I wheeled it beside me so I can walk towards the door. I managed to walk towards the door when I saw my reflection on the mirror inside the open bathroom door on my right.
