'Has something changed?' I asked with hope as I saw dad. 'No, she still isn't awake,' he said disappointed. My mother was in a coma when she got hit by a car when she tried to cross the street. We don't know who the driver was because he/she didn't stop to help mom, but just left.

'May, I got bad news,' my dad said breaking the silence. 'We-... we don't have enough money for her treatment. I already took an extra job, but I don't think it will be enough. They are going to shut the machine down next week, of I don't have enough money by then,' he said. 'NO! They can't! they just can't! I'm going to work to, earn money, then mom has more time to wake up!' I said determined. 'No, May, you don't have to do that. This is my fault because I stopped working at the gym. And now all the people that used to work-out there have found another gym. I've just get as much as extra jobs as I can get,' he said shaking his head. 'I'm going to help, if you like it or not!' I answered. A small smile formed on his face. 'Just as stubborn as your mother. Thank you May. But don't do too much, you still have school,' he said. 'Of course,' I said with a smile.

'What are you doing February?' I heard from behind. I looked up from the newspaper I was reading, trying to find an advertisement for a job. 'Reading,' I replied. 'Looking for a job?' he asked not giving up. He doesn't need to know this. 'No,' I said getting irritated.

'Are you sure?'

'Yes,'

'Then why are you on the advertisement page?'

'Because... I'm looking for sales,'

'No you're not,'

'Yes I am!'

'Nope,'

'Why don't you just drop it?!' I yelled frustrated.

'Because, my dearest May, I want answers. And I always get what I want,' he said smirking. 'Oh by the way, I already have the answers,' he said sitting next to me. 'W-what? How!?' I asked. 'Well, your father is Norman Maple, that guy from the famous gym around here?'. 'Maybe'. 'That's a yes. Well, he started working for my father. My father recognized him, and asked why he wasn't working at the gym. And he told almost everything. About how his wife was sick, and the gym was gone. And he also told that his beautiful daughter was also looking for a job, and if my father had an extra job for her,' he said with a smirk. 'W-WHAT? He just told a stranger?! That is private!' I exclaimed angry. Ignoring my reply, Drew continued. 'Now, we do have a certain job for that daughter, but I don't think that she'll like it,' he said with the smirk still on his face. 'What is it,' I managed to get out. I really needed a job. 'We need another maid. But not just one that cleans, Solidad already does that. But more one that does things like my homework, and cooking, and just do stuff for me, that I don't like to do,' he said. 'You were right, she doesn't like it at all,' I said. 'Oh you will take that job, trust me. Because, remember this, I always get what I want,' he said as he stood up, flicking his hair and walking away. I felt rage boiling inside me. 'Arrogant Grasshead!' I muttered, drawing my attention back to the newspaper.

'Nothing!' I yelled frustrated throwing the newspaper away. 'Girl, calm down, we'll find you a job,' Dawn said. We were in the café like usually. 'Nothing in this one as well,' I heard Leaf saying from my right. 'I'm never going to find a job!' I said slamming my head on the table. 'Or... you can just take the job Drew offered you. It's not that bad you know,' Misty said. 'NEVER! I'm not going to work for that Treetop in my whole life!' I yelled.

'Drew... Is that job still free?' I asked shyly looking down as I stood in front of his door. 'Changed your mind? I heard you talking in the café,' he said. I didn't looked at him but I could feel that a wide smirk grew on his face. 'Stalker,' I muttered. 'First, I was there with the boys, and second, everybody could hear you,' he said. 'Just answer my question!' I said embarrassed. 'You can start tomorrow, on one condition!' he said. 'What is it?' I asked, still looking down. 'You just have to say a simple sentence: "Drew is amazing, handsome, and is always right." Go ahead,' he said. I looked up furiously as I saw him leaning in the door opening with the usual smirk.

'No way!'

'Do you want the job or not?'

'...'

'Then say it'.

'Fine... Drew is amazing and always right'.

'You forgot "handsome"'.

'And handsome...'

'Okay, now the whole sentence please'.

'Resist the urge to kill him May. Resist it'.

'I don't have the whole day'.

'Hmpf! Drew is amazing, handsome, and is always right. HAPPY NOW?'

'Very, see you tomorrow August'.

'MY NAME IS MAY!'

'I know'.

I don't really have to say something... Hope you enjoyed the chapter! Please leave a vote and comment!
