It's no doubt that Richie and Eddie's bickering is super annoying. If Cassiopeia hadn't known better, she would probably think the two are an on and off couple. Nevertheless, the group dealt with it the whole way. Now, finally, making it inside the Hanscom house and into Ben's room.

Upon reaching the boys' room it's evident how interested and invested in this he is. All four walls are filled up by news articles and various photographs. "Cool, huh?" Ben smiled as the other six kids inspected the room.

Cassiopeia looked at one picture after the other, not sure what to look at first. From the corner of her eye, she saw Richie standing beside her. The boy with glasses scoffed, "no, nothing cool." He then pointed at a picture and looked at Cassiopeia who looked back. "Well this is cool... wait. No, it's not." With a smile and blush on her cheeks, Cassiopeia shook her head, walking away from the boy.

Eddie and Stanley soon walked over to where Cassiopeia once stood. "What's that?" The curly-haired boy asked, pointing to an article on a chart.

"That? That's the charter for Derry township."

"Nerd alert," Richie spoke, pulling his glasses up. Cassiopeia couldn't help but let out a chuckle. As rude as she knows it is, she couldn't help but think he's the nerdiest looking boy in Derry.

"Actually it's really interesting." Ben defended. "Derry started as a beaver trapping camp."

Richie turned to Stanley and Eddie quickly, "still is. Am I right boys?" He held his hand up for a high five, which no one gave him. Instead, they ignored him and gave slight eye rolls.

Much like the others Ben ignored Richie and continued to explain. "Ninety-one people signed the charter that made Derry. But later that winter, they all disappeared without a trace."

"The entire camp?" Eddie asked.

"There were rumors of Indians... but no sign of an attack. Everyone thought it was a plague or something. But it's like... one day everybody just woke up and left." Been took a pause of breath, "the only clue was a trail of clothes leading to the well-house."

After a second of silence, and a not so subtle conversation between Stanley, Richie, and Eddie. Bill now had a question. "W-where is the well-house?"

Ben only shrugged, "I don't know. Somewhere in town, I guess. Why?"

"Nothing."
