The wind howled outside, light thunder pounding; signaling a storm coming. My heart beat quickened as I picked up my phone to make the one call I never wanted to, never intended to. Life kept smacking me in the face and I needed a new start, a fresh start away from the life I've made. The phone began to ring, I silently hoped he was too busy to answer.

"Hey Nor!" He answered excitingly, a bit out of breath.

"Hey.. uh.. are you busy?"

"I'm on the set, but they can wait a minute. What's up?"

Hesitant, I sighed. "Can I stay with you for awhile?" Deciding not to beat around the bush.

There was a pause at the other end, "well.." he trailed off. I hated to ask for anything, it had never been one of my strong suits. I'm the kind of girl that will quietly suffer so I don't burden anyone else. So his short pause felt like forever. "YES! Holland will be so excited!" Dylan basically screamed through the phone. A small smile coming on my lips, they'd been begging for me to visit for awhile now.

"You're the best, literally."

______

Sighing, I packed the last of my remains from my flat in Cambridge. Where I spent the last 4 years studying, where I spend the last 3 years with him.
So many memories haunted me here, every turn brought back new flashbacks. My lease was finally over, so I decided my life here was over too. It was all too much, losing him was too much.

Taking one last look, at the dimly lite former home, Before finally closing the door. Hoping I could rid myself of ever ounce of pain these past few months had caused me.

My long dark hair unattractively smacked me in the face as I got out of the cab. Attempting to walk to then trunk to grab my multiple bags.

"First time in LA?" The driver asked opening the truck for me.

"I've been before, first time visiting my brothers new place."

"Are you sure you're just visiting?" He slowly questioned handing me my fifth bag.

"Yes." I said with an acute tone, trying to grab the other bag.

"Do you wan-"

"No."

"Norah!" Holland's red hair came into view, bouncing our way. She instantly grabbed the bags smiling brightly at me. "Oh I've missed you! Let's get you settled in!" For the first time in awhile I gave her a genuine smile, paying the cab driver and thanking him, then following in tow after her.

Their apartment (if you can even call it that) was huge. Big kitchen. Big living room. Big everything.

 Big everything
