It's almost time to leave. I snuck out of the vast abyss and headed towards the hunter exam building. I had leads on where it was a feeling of great power radiated off of the small restaurant. I smiled and waited for the next person to possibly give me the code to enter.

Just my luck today, there seems to be someone heading towards this place. The man looked to be about 6 or 7 inches taller than me with rather interesting hair. His tall slender frame mixed surprisingly well with his interesting choice of clothing.

The man walked into the restaurant and ushered the code of the chef who directed him to a door in the back. I smirked and walked in a few moments after and repeated the same phrase to the worker there. The worker nodded at me and directed me to the same doorway. I walked there and got in, soon realizing that this was in fact an elevator.

I got off the elevator room and entered a tunnel-like area. I assume this was where the hunter exam was located or I had just been tricked. Soon a small bean-shaped figure walked to me and handed me a tag with the number 45 on it. I pinned it on my shirt as the bean-shaped man began to tell me of its purposes.

After the explanation, I walked away and sat in a rather isolated area. I looked around and saw a small selection of people. Only about 44 others had made it here as of now. The man that had given me the code was also here. He seemed rather thrilled as if he was the one hosting this exam. I took one last scam around the room before sitting down.

Few moments later, a plump man walked over to me.

"Hello, you must be new. My name is Tompa." He stated. I stared at him wondering what he wanted. However he cleared his threat and started to talk again.

"My name is Tompa and you must be new. I know because this is my 35th time here." Tompa stated again. I simply nodded and said nothing else.

"Ahh we'll be careful of people like number 44. He took the exam last year and got disqualified because he had killed an examiner..."

Tompa went on with his small talk as I drowned out his words. Soon enough he had offered a can of orange soda to me and stated it was a sign of friendship. Warily, I took the can and opened it as the strong sent of laxative hit my nose. I wanted to gag at the putrid sent as Tompa stared at me, eagerly. I could tell he wanted me to drink it but I wouldn't give him the satisfaction. Instead of drinking it, I decided to speak.

"You know, poisoning your so called new friend isn't very nice." I ushered with a hint of venom in my tone.

Tompa froze at my words before laughing nervously and walking away. I signed and rested my head against the hard wall. As I closed my eyes, I heard a small chuckle. I peered out of one eye to see the man that I had meet before eyeing me. He was dressed to resemble a circus clown with his red and blue hair. On his face, a star and a heart appeared on his cheeks and he had a rather sadistic grin plastered on his face as well.

Soon enough, I had managed to doze off and get some much needed sleep.

I woke up after my small nap and noticed a significant increase in the amount of people. Instead of the mere 45 participants before, there was well over 200 now. My eyes scanned over the large field of people as I began to analyze them. In order to get a better view, I climbed one of the pipes that ran from the floor to the ceiling.

A few people caught my eye. There was an interesting figure that was near impossible to miss. He had pins stuck all over his body with a pinkish tinted skin and a vest also covered in pins. I continued to look around before some other applicants took my attention. There was the obvious #44 in the clown suit but also a kid. He looked to be only about 12 or 13 with white fluffy hair and deep blue eyes. He also carried a skateboard as he walked around.

As time passed, more and more people piled in. If I had to guess, there had to be at least 400 people. The area was starting to get small as the number of applicants increased.

My gaze fell back to the entrance when 3 rather interesting people walked in. One of them was a kid around the same age as that white haired child. But this time, he had blackish, greenish hair that looked to defy gravity and wore a green jacket with green shorts. The other 2 next to him looked a bit older. One looked to be about 16 with blond hair and religious looking clothing. The other looked much older in a suit and tie while carrying a briefcase. They appeared to be the last ones to enter as time was up.

A short while after an annoying high pitched sound rang. Everyone looked to see a slender man with a fine mustache. He directed us to follow him through the tunnel as the signal for phase 1.
