Kinda mad, mostly just upset. I am in JROTC and we were going to march in the Veterans Day Parade. My grandma was supposed to come pick me, my friend, and an old family friend(a veteran) up and drive us home. Well we finish the parade around 4:30 and I try to get a hold of her (her phone broke) and 5:30 rolls around.

It's dark, we are freezing (in mid 30's) and still no sign of her. We end up walking to my home in the dark (about a 15-20 minute walk) and we get home. By the time we get home (around 6) and the family friend gets dropped off at our house (he got a ride from another veteran). He can't get inside his place because he's living with my grandma and she's still missing... (she has the keys and his car) my step-dad was finally off of work and at home by 6:30. He drove him to the house and had to find a way in (he climbed through the bathroom window) so that he could go home.

She had shown up at my apartment right as the parade ended and my mom told her that my friend and I were waiting for her. They talk and my grandma gets mad she won't ride in the car with her (my mom was sick and wasn't going to get a car when she would get car sick) and she drives off.

Almost an hour later (it is now 7 o'clock, we have been at my house for an hour. 2 hours after she was supposed to be there) and she shows up and takes one look at us and says 'Oh did I miss the parade?' My mom is livid. She didn't want me walking home from the fair (less than a 10 minute walk) when it's dark much less from where I had to. (We had no car available except my grandma).

A lot has happened today. I'm so glad my friend was nice about it because I had promised her a ride and my ride bailed on me and left me to walk I'm freezing temperatures at dark. She was so nice and we had a lot of fun at my house until her mom would come pick her up. I love you girl!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
