Little Jackaboy

Mark sat there doing his work quietly. The only sound that could be heard was the slight patter of rain that hit the window and roof. Mark smiled to himself as he went over his schedule again to make sure it was in his head. 

Suddenly the door creaked open and a green hair boy poked his head into the office. Mark turned and looked at his little boyfriend, smiling at what the boy wore. Jack was wearing a baggy blue sweater with blue knee-high socks. He wore no pants or shorts, just some briefs with blue bears on them. Jack was holding his stuffed Sam as he waddled closer to Mark. 

" What is it Baby boy?" Mark said, scooping up his small boyfriend and setting him on his lap.

"I hungey Daddy.." Jack said, rubbing his tummy as it grumbled.

Mark looked at the clock on his wall. 7:30. Mark was shocked he forgot about his little boy's dinner. Mark quickly sat up, placing Jack on his hip and walked to the kitchen. He set Jack down on the counter and got to work, making his baby a meal. 

Jack smiled widely as he watched his Daddy. He bounced his Sam all about, humming and singing. Just being his adorable self. 

Once Mark was done, he placed the food in the oven and turned back to Jack. 

"What we have Daddy?" Jack said, tilting his head. 

Mark picked up Jack and held him. "Your favorite, Baby Boy~" 

Jack gasped. "Pwineapple Pwizza!" He said, throwing his arms in the air, excited.

Mark nodded and got Jack's sippy cup. " And Banana Milk~" He grabbed the milk and the flavoring as well.

Jack's heart swelled with happiness. He had the best daddy, in his opinion. Mark always took the best care of him and never pressured Jack into doing something he didn't want to unless it was super important. 

Mark handed his little Jacky his sippy cup. Jack happily drank the Banana goodness inside. (A/N: I've never had banana milk, but I've heard it good.) Mark smiled, watching his beautiful baby. He set Jack down and checked on the pizza. 

"Dwne?" 

"Done," Mark said, taking out the hot pizza and setting it on the stove. 

Jack cheered and ran to his seat, ready to enjoy the goodness of his foods. Mark chuckled as he cut up the pizza, making Jack smaller slices. He put them on plates. His being a bigger glass plate and Jack's being a smaller colorful plastic plate. He sat down in front of Jack and set down the plates. Jack smiled big and gobbled up his food and milk. 

 "Slow Down sweetheart! There's no need to rush!" Mark said, giggling.

Jack smiled and talked, food still in his mouth,"Bwut Daddy!" 

"Chew all your food and don't talk with your mouth full, Little one."

Jack nodded and swallowed his food, drinking more milk. Mark's smile grew. He loved his baby with all his heart. He never thought he'd be a daddy until Jack came along. He didn't even know about DDLB, but Jack taught him. Now, at least he thinks so, he's the world's most okayest Daddy.

Mark and Jack sat there at their table, eating and talking about their day. Both of them enjoying the others company.
