Those chocolates and roses would never be cherished
unless both of your hearts were flying in the same flock
For those very simple things you embellished
were worthless to someone who cannot love you back
Love was this firm, serious, ambiguous matter
that you would do anything for though it made you suffer
You tried to made her feel she was special
But you failed, because for her you were not essential
Love was not based on effort
rather it was love who made you do an action
An action that sent comfort
An action filled with passion and emotion
Those sweet actions were not the key
The key that would unlock her heart to hear thy plea
A platonic plea of a man thirsting for the words 'I do'
The five magic words 'I do love you too'
How poor this man could be?
If only love was easily taught to thee
Yet, no, it was learned in medallic time
An imperfect yet right time
A man would never be loved for his actions
Rather he was love for it was her heart's decision
For love came in no reason
It came in an unexpected season
Love sought beyond our eyes
It listened beyond our ears
It touched beyond our hands
It spoke beyond our tongues
No matter how billion times you strive
just for you to become her king
You would fail, for no clock can tell when love arrives
Because love was and is not a one-time thing
