I wish for a wish that can't be true
A wish that is more than a wish to be with you
But you're already out there with someone new
While I'm still holding with our sweet promises anew
I wish I could turn back time
Back when you were still mine
When I'm still your number one priority
When I'm still your one and only destiny
I wish I could claim you back
And I'll try to fully repair my lack
Just so you won't ever flee
And you will be living happily ever after with me
I wish I could have the courage to say
That you are perfect in a different way
But it's nonsense now
For she'll be there to complete my vow
You are already happy with her
With that, I can't wish anymore further
'cause just by seeing the smile in your eyes
