"Hello Jade, Zoe, Pin oh and hello Rosie, Ben" Elliot said surprised, "Can I speak to Marcus?"

"Marcus is Ill he's not in today – Pin's covering" I replied honestly.

"Ok well can I speak to you Pin?" Elliot asked Him.

"Sure." Pin said following Elliot into the office.

"Well let's see these stalls then shall we - you must have forgot about them while making the yard spotless." Mia smugly said.

Smugly I replied, "Yes let's see them, shall we?" Suddenly Mia's smug look vanished as we approached firefly's stall – then her other 2 horse's stalls, then when she saw the triplet's stalls – Majors stall and Marcus's horse's stall then of course Vixen's, Raven's, and Bob's.

"How are these 10 stalls spotless as well as the yard!!" Mia demanded furious at our accomplishment. I didn't tell her that I had done Raven's and Bob's and Pin had done Vixen's stall and Marcus's horses stall earlier. That's 4 all ready and then after lunch while pin was at the yard he had done one of Mia's horses stall already then, I finished another of for him while he did firefly's – then we did the triplets.

"Mia?" Eliot said coming out of the office "What's going on?"

"Nothing Daddy, just admiring the stables." She called Back. She scowled at me then stomped of back towards her 'Daddy'.

"Well let's see these shining stalls then" Elliot boomed walking towards us.

First, he inspected Bob's stall – it was the one nearest to the office. He then continued round the block till he reached the last stall – Vixen's

While Elliot was inspecting the stalls, I walked over to Pin who was sitting on a bench outside the tack room.

"Hey, you Ok? What did he talk to you about?" I asked.

"He... He wants to buy the stables." Pin replied tears forming in his eyes but not falling. He blinked them back.

"What?" I have laughed in disbelieve. "You're serious, right?"

"No" He said. No tears in his eyes now. "And.... And Me and dad won't have ... Have a job here – Mia said something to him ...." Pin said his voice all shaky.

"No!" I exclaimed "W...why?"

"I don't know, but hey that doesn't mean we won't see each other." Pin said.

"I know ..." I said. "but How will you get money? For you and your dad?" I asked

"I... don't know – maybe in town somewhere – like the café?" Pin replied

"I... I could speak to Elliot...?" I questioned.

"Thanks, but it won't work – he hangs onto every word of Mia's" Pin said.

"I can try." I reassured him.

"Thank you." Pin said.

So now I had to face Elliot – ugh why do I have to work my way into these situations?

After Elliot had finished 'inspecting' the stables, well I wouldn't really call it inspecting it was more of a popping his head round the door. I bet he wouldn't have cared if we hadn't done it at all! Anyway, I took a big breath and caught him just before he got into his 4x4. "Elliot?" I started "Can I speak to you?"
