Neil

It's been a month now since we announced the tour at Chandler's party. Ever since then, things have been kind of crazy. Kimberly, Reid, and I have been busy planning and rehearsing for the tour. Since Chandler's album has dropped she's been busy with media and promoting it, so I haven't really seen her at rehearsals or meetings. She hasn't even been in Nashville that much. I think last week she was in London or something? This week she's in California. So obviously there hasn't been much time to talk, which is good. I still don't know how she feels about me. Whenever we are together she avoids me. She always seemed more interested in talking to Kimberly or Sam then me. I just hope I can make things right with her again. I need her.

"Hey Neil!" Kimberly called to me from the other room, "We have to get going! We need to be at last rehearsal a little early. Chandler just texted me and she flew in last night, so she'll be here today. We also need have a meeting with everyone before we start. Let's go!"

I had totally forgot that Chandler was going to be at rehearsal today. The tour starts tomorrow. And if I was going to make things right with Chandler, I needed to do it now. Today I'm going to Chandler I still love her.

"Yeah, I'll be right out," I responded.

I gathered up my things and what ever courage I had left and reluctantly followed my siblings out the door.

All I heard was the horrible sound of my alarm go off. I rolled over, annoyed that I had to wake up, and turned it off.

Every part of me begged myself to stay in bed and skip rehearsal. But, I promised Kimberly I would be there today. I mean I hadn't really been to any other rehearsals, and it was the last one.. So I needed to be there. This was my tour too.

I rolled out of bed and rubbed my eyes, trying to adjust to the sunlight coming through my window. My dog, Cash (named after Johnny Cash), followed me into the kitchen of my giant condo.

I started to make a coffee in the kitchen. Suddenly my phone buzzed:

Sam Lexington: Hey! I heard you were in town and coming to rehearsal today. If you have some time before would you want to go to lunch? I know a really good sushi spot downtown! :)

I smiled at the text. I didn't really know Sam. And I didn't want to hurt my relationship with Neil anymore. But, on the other hand, I really need a friend right now. I don't really have anyone to be honest. Also, Neil doesn't even seem interested in me anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a girlfriend already. I mean how could he not? Everyone loves him.

And I mean, it would be nice to get to know Sam before the tour and everything.

Surprisingly, I convinced myself to respond:

I'd love to go. See you soon!

Finally, my coffee was done and I went back to my closet to get ready.

I leaned against the wall in the empty warehouse, our rehearsal space. Crew members were starting to move things around. I was annoyed that I was the first one here, but I wanted to impress The Band Perry, Chandler, and our label. I'm never going to get anywhere in this world if I don't suck up and impress. So that's exactly what I'm going to do. Even if it means cheating a little to get it.

Finally the Perry's and their large entourage that included their parents, band, and managers entered the room.

I decided to put on a fake smile and 'sweet talk' them as much as possible.
