I got to stay home on Tuesday this week because it was voting day.
Now, for most people, staying home means eating snacks, relaxing, and playing video games or texting.
Not for me!
I have to take care of my siblings and do chores.
So I get done vacuuming and I check my phone. It's 11:45, so I might as well make some lunch.
~time skip~
I get done with lunch and do my other chores, then I flip down on to the couch and cast Netflix onto the tv. I'm watching The Walking Dead, when two hours into it my little brother comes down the stairs.
"Can I have some popcorn? I'm hungry." He asks. So I make him some popcorn and we watch Star Wars Rogue One. My parents finally come home around 5:30 and they make dinner. We all sit down and are about to eat, and Reed says: "wait, did we eat lunch?"
That's when I froze.

I forgot to feed my brother lunch.

I am the worst caretaker ever.

Never trust me with your children.
