You Got A Friend - Another Trip!

BACK IN LIVERPOOL

"Wake up Paul." 

Paul heard some ones voice from far off. Where was he? He slowly forced his eyes open and saw...his dad looking at him. Paul smiled.

"Morning son. Brian is downstairs, wants to talk with you all." Jim moved his hands through Paul's hair.

"Us all?"

"The other boys are downstairs. George is going to be here in a bit."

"Okay." Paul got up and walked down with his dad. John and Richie were sitting on the couch and looking at a book of Paul and Mike's.

"Hi Paulie!"

Paul yawned. "Hi." He sat down next to them, when the doorbell rang. It was George.

"Now," Brian said and sat down across from the lads. "Lets talk about the next tour date."

"Where we going next?" John asked eagerly.

"Im booking into the Philippines. Hows that sound?"

"Gear!" John shouted.

"Same here!" Paul agreed with a nod of his head.

"I cant wait." Richie replied, and looked over at George.

"Ive talked to your parents. Thats what i was doing, and they said it was alright."

"Are they coming with us?" Paul asked.

"No. This is just a concert. 2 days then we're leaving to come home." Brian smiled.

"Do we have to fly?" George asked.

"Yes we do."

"I don't want to go..."

"George!"

"I dont like planes!"

"Want to go on boat? It will be much faster on plane, George."

"I don't care."

"George you have to come. Your scared of everything."

"Am not. John. You are."

"Name one!"

"The dark!"

"No im not!"

"Yeah you are. Paul told me!"

"George! Your not supposed too tell anyone that..." Paul whispered.

"Paul!"

"Lads stop. George if you don't want to come we can find some one else." Brian told them. Mary was leaning on the family room entrance.

"No. I want to play." 

"Then you can. Only if you come."

"Alright."

John chuckled at George who glared at him. 

"Will you all behave on the trip?" Brian asked sitting straight in his seat.

"I will, dunno about these three." Ringo pointed to the others.

"Oh be quiet. We will behave."

"You better Paul, if i hear you've done something bad you'll be grounded." Jim told him.

"Yes sir." Paul said.

"When will we leave?" John asked.

"A few days, next week probably. When ever they find a time."

"This is exciting!" Ringo smiled.

"George your mum is coming up the steps." John said turning away from the window.

"I know. She said she'd come."

"Lads want some breakfast?" Paul's mother asked the group.

"Yes please." Ringo nodded. John jumped up and followed him to the kitchen. 

"Mummy can i have my cup?" Paul asked.

"Please?"

"Please." Paul said.

George sat down next to Paul and John and Ringo sat across. Mike at the head. Brian and Jim went to talk, while Paul and George's mum made breakfast.

"Thank you." George told Mary McCartney when she put his plate down.

"Your welcome George."

Once the lads finished they went to Paul's room to play guitar or just play. 

"Can we go outside and play tag?" Mike asked.

"I don't want to play tag." Paul shook his head, then looked at John.

"Raise your hand if you want to play tag!" John said, but didnt raise his  hand. 

George, Mike and Ringo raised their hands. Paul looked at John and frowned.

"Alright tag it is!" John smiled.

"But what will i do?" Paul asked.

"Sit out." John shrugged and led the boys outside. Paul sat on the porch watching as the others ran around screaming.

"Lazy Paul!" John shouted as he ran by.

"Am not."

"Pouty." John said again.

The next time he came around Paul tackled him, but soon ended under John. 

"John Lennon is victorious again!" John laughed.

"Get off me." Paul struggled.

"Please?"

"Please." Paul frowned.

John nodded and got off him. Paul then ran after him. "I knew it!" John shouted and raced around the yard. 

The lads were called in for some lunch. Then after lunch they went to Paul's room to play on their guitars.
