Hey, this story (so you know) will be kinda bassed on one Beatle each chapter! like John was mainly the first, now Paul, then George, Then Ringo. (Coincidence....the ORDER THEY JOINED!...ok..) any ways...enjoy my next chapter!
-------------
Paul rolled on to his back with the desire to get comfortable. Slowly, he glanced over at the window and then at Ringo's bed. (Ringo and him shared a room because John and him talked to much and so did George.)
Paul rolled over on his right side, facing the door leading to the living room. He felt hot and drowsy too, but could not go to sleep. He sat up, his head felt heavy, and took his top off so he would not be so hot and laid back down. His head was still heavy and he felt miserable.
Finally, he decided to just get out of bed. He hesitated as he reached the door and felt a wave of dizziness pass over him. As all returned to normal he considered waking Ringo, but decided the better option would be just to go straight to Brian.
Paul took a few steps before the dizziness returned for a brief second, then proceeded towards Brian's room. His body seemed to be getting heavy and he was aching all over. Suddenly, Paul dropped to the ground in a faint, hitting his head in the process on a table.
Next thing Paul knew was that he was in bed and it was daylight outside. He didn't much fancy the brightness of the light since he had the worse headache he'd ever had.
"Want something to eat, Paul?" a familiar voice asked him.
Paul looked up at Mr. Epstein and nodded, then shut his eyes. Brian put his hand over Paul's forehead and sighed as he stood up.
Brian walked into the kitchen where Ringo was preparing his own breakfast of milk and cornflakes.
"What's wrong with Paulie?" Ringo asked as he carefully poured the milk into his bowl.
"I don't know for sure, my guess is a small bug. He was laying on the floor. Well that's what woke me up. He hit his head on the table." Brain made a cup of orange juice for the sick bit and paused. "Can you watch Paul? I got to go to a meeting in thirty minutes unfortunately."
"Yes sir, I can!" Ringo nodded as a yawn escaped.
Brian smiled and thanked him before walking into Paul's room.
"Hey, Paul," Brian tapped the boy's shoulder, "can you wake up and drink something?"Paul's eyes struggled to stay open but he managed it enough to take a sip of the juice, "W-what happened?" He asked shivering a little.
'Why am I so cold?' He thought.
"You fainted and then hit your head," Brian told him, "at 4 a.m. You were out for a good long time. Glad you're alright though."
Paul's head started aching and hurting. He felt terrible and hot/cold at the same time.
"Oh! I don't feel good!" Said Paul putting his face in his hands. Brian put a hand on his shoulder.
"Will you be okay?" Brian asked.
Paul lifted his tear stained face and shook his head.
"Let me get you a shirt and then I got to leave. Everything will be ok." Brian assured him. He came back with a shirt. "Want me to bring you some fish'n'chips? If you feel like it. When did you come down with this?"
"I...at...last...n-night-t." Paul stopped mid sentence as he couldn't stop from crying.
Brian took him in his arms. It took Paul only a minute or two to fall back asleep. Soon afterwards, Ringo came in with cereal.
"Does Paul want food?" He asked.
"No," Brian laid, the now sleeping Paul back on his pillow, "Well, Richie, I got to leave. See you later." He whispered and quietly walked out of the room. Ringo tagged along and got an ear full of 'if Brian comes back to shambles he'll know who to blame' from Brian just as he was out the door.
Ringo eagerly nodded, looked back down at the cereal and put it on the coffee table. He'd just go get Mal if need be and hopefully that wouldn't be the case. He heard a door close and a sleepy George came wandering out into the sitting area.
"Morning, Rings." He managed to say through a yawn.
"Morning, George, want some cereal?" Ringo handed out the bowl that Paul wasn't going to eat.
George's face lit up at the sight of food on the table and sat down on the floor to eat the cereal."Paul's not awake?" George asked a little bit louder, as he was waking up more.
"Ssh, don't wake 'im up, he's sick." Ringo pointed a wagging finger at George, who covered his mouth and muttered a 'sorry' behind his palm.
Back in the bedroom, Paul opened his eyes and looked around. He got up and saw all three other band mates around the coffee table.
"Ring-go?" Paul's head throbbed and he closed his eyes in hopes of relieving the pain.
Ringo came over quickly and guided him to the counch, "its okay, mate. Just lay here."
"Can I have some water?" Paul asked with a low tone.
Ringo nodded and came back with a glass. "Here mate."
Paul took it and drank quickly.
"Hopefully, 'e gets bett'r." John stared half asleep at Paul.
"Yeah me to. Now wake up, OK!" Ringo spoke quickly to John.
Paul sighed. He wanted to tell everyone he hoped so too, but changed his mind. He fell back asleep.
