Chapter Three

Haley POV

The bell rang signaling school was over and I made my way out to the parking lot. I looked around for Stiles jeep and spotted it, him leaning across it with his arms and legs crossed. I approached him and he said

"Hey there pretty lady, how was your first day?"

I gushed at his comment calling me a 'pretty lady' and smiled.

"Fine I guess. Except for the guys who kept whistling to me and claiming they would "get all up in this". The guys are complete jerks." I said kind of looking around feeling a pair of eyes on me.

Stiles looked around and when his eyes landed in a certain spot I followed his gaze. There was some broad shoulder guy with a lacrosse jacket on and he was smirking my way. Feeling a bit insecure I step towards Stiles until our bodies collided and he wrapped his arms around me in attempt to not expose my body. I smiled at him before turning to see that the guy now had an annoyed and defeated look on his face. Wonder what pushed his buttons, he was the one staring at me! He sent us one last glare before heading off in the other direction. I let out a breath I hadn't even known I was holding and turned to give Stiles a hug, thanking him for protecting me.

"Oh it was nothing. I wouldn't want anyone violating such a pretty girl" he said winking.

"Well I'm glad I was protected by such a handsome young man" I complimented back

His cheeks started to grow red as I tapped them while laughing. I walked over to the passenger side still laughing and Stiles rushed pass me to open the door while saying

"Not funny Argent"

I laughed at his fake pouty face while stepping in and buckling my seat belt. He went around to the other side and hopped in while starting up the car. The car ride was silent but not awkward and before I knew it we were in front of the house. The minute I stepped out my phone buzzed and I took it out to see a message from Allison. It read:

Staying over at Scott's for the weekend sorry :( maybe you can hang with Stiles or something ;).

I laughed at how she suggested that Stiles and I hang out but I know that we can never be nothing more than just friends. I'm actually okay with that because I would never take anyone's guy which I'm sure he has a girlfriend at this point. Anyways since I would be home alone I figured why not hang with Stiles. It's not like we'll be doing anything. So I turned on my heels and kneeled down sticking my head through the window.

"Would you like to come in for a while? My uncle won't be back until morning and Allison's staying the night at Scott's sooo.."

He looked at me with wide eyes as if I said something unbelievable. Maybe he just didn't want to come in but that's all he had to say. He doesn't have to look at me like that.

"Y-yeah of course"

I cocked an eyebrow at him and tilted my head a little before asking "Are you sure? You don't seem like you want to"

He gasped and held his chest causing me to giggle slightly and said "How could I not want to hang out with the most beautiful girl in the world"

I blushed at his comment and quickly turned my head before he could see. What has gotten into me, I mean sure I like him, I've liked a lot of guys, but none of them ever made me blush. It was like Stiles was different than most guys. He seems like he isn't the one to jump into relationships just to smash and pass. No he's the kind that's in it for the long run and if he has you he isn't letting you go. Now that I think about it I don't even think I like Stiles. I think I'm totally falling for him and I've only known him for less than 48 hours. This is something real and to be honest, I kind of like the feeling. I love the affect he has on me. When he touches me its like a spark ignites and when he's looking at me I feel like a diamond in the sun. He's the most kindest, funniest, cutest guy I've ever known and it would be the death of me if I ever got a chance to have him. That would be like a magical fairytale that has come to life.
