"I mean it's an honor to be invited but I'm not sure I'm ready to be out in the spotlight like that." I was currently laying on our couch talking to Gina. "He did say I could a bring a friend."

"Would y'all be showing up and walking in together or would you walking separately from him?" She asked.

"Pretty sure separately, but he wants me to sit with his family in the section reserved for them." I answered with a sigh.

"Have y'all even made it official?" She asked.

I shook my head "That's why I'm so hesitant to go. Aren't fans going to wonder who the random girl is sitting with his family. How am I even supposed to introduce myself to them?
Nice to meet you I'm your sons... girlfriend? Friend? Bed buddy?"

She laughed, "Bed buddy would be an interesting route to take."

We both looked at each other and broke out into a fit of laughter.

"No but in all seriousness you should talk to Dak. Tell him how you feel about going to the game."

My phone went off from my room and I jumped up to go answer it.

"Speak of the devil." I mumbled to myself.

Dak Attack 😏: So have you made up your mind about coming to the game?

I decided to FaceTime him instead of texting back. As soon as I connected I spoke.

"I don't think I'm comfortable going to the game."

"Why not?" He asked, his face full of concern.

"Because I don't think I'm ready to be in the spotlight just yet, and then you want me to sit with your family and I have no clue as to how I'm supposed to introduce myself to them."

"Is this because I haven't asked you to be my girlfriend yet? Because I assumed we were already at that point." He said.

I felt my cheeks turning red, "I wanted us to be but I was waiting for you to ask."

"Man up and ask her already." I heard someone say in the background.

"Zeke?" I asked laughing.

Dak nodded his head and rolled his eyes as Zeke came into view.

"Heeeyyy Allison." He said winking.

Dak shoved him away and then asked, "So you want to be girl or what?"

The temperature in the room felt like it increased by a hundred degrees as I breathed out  "Yes."
