Today was the day, today I would be attending the first game of the 2017 season. Today I would meet my boyfriends family for the first time. My boyfriend, I haven't used that label in years. After I got my heart broken back in high school I swore off boys until I graduated college. Dak came in and knocked down those walls that I spent years building up.
I didn't mind at all I knew he wasn't the kind of guy to hurt me. These are the thoughts that ran through my mind as I finished my hair. Dak got me one of his jerseys to wear to the game. I paired it with my dark ripped jeans and white Adidas. I braided my hair into two French braids.

"I'm ready when you are!" I heard Gina yell from our living room. She was wearing a Dallas Cowboys sweater from Victoria Secret, the same ripped jeans I was wearing and her all white Nike roshes.

When we arrived at the stadium we immediately found our seats and sat down. "I've never been this close!" My roommate exclaimed as she squeezed my hand. "I have to FaceTime Eddie he's going to flip!"
I laughed as she pulled out her phone and dialed her boyfriends number. My attention was tried to the three people approaching us. My heart stopped, and my palms got sweaty.
"You must be Allison, I've heard so many great things about you. It's nice to finally meet you." The lady from the group spoke up as she reached out her hand. She didn't look much older than I was. I stood up as she spoke.
"It's nice to finally meet you to, Natalie right?" I asked as I shook her outstretched hand.
She smiled, "That's me, and this is our dad Nathaniel, and our brothers Tad and Jace." She motioned to the three men standing behind her and they all waved simultaneously.
"It's nice to meet you all." I said shyly.
"Nice to meet you to, Dak hasn't shut up about you." Jace said with a laugh.
"This is my best friend Gina." I gestured over to the girl who just got off the phone. She looked up, smiled and waved at them. They smiled back.
When we took our seats his dad sat on the other side of me.
"You know it's been a while since I've met one of Dak's girlfriend, he must find you pretty special." He said.
I smiled as I looked over at the Quarterback stretching in the end zone. "I can I only hope so."
