1 Year Later...
Dak's P.O.V
I walked into the stadium, my nerves were kicked in to overdrive. Today was a big day. It was our first game of the 2018 season. Allison would be here watching with my family.
"Hey man, you ready for this?" My best friend asked me as I entered the locker room.
"About as ready as I'll ever be." I chuckled, I changed out of my suit and into my warm up outfit.
We warmed up for about forty five minutes. As I was stretching in the end zone I glanced up into the stands. I saw Allison, Gina and Eddy sitting with my family. Allison and I made eye contact and a huge smile appeared on her face.
I smiled back at her, she had no idea what I had in store for later.——————————————————
We headed into the locker room as the second quarter ended. It was halftime, I grabbed my phone out of my bag and texted my brother and told him to bring Allison down to the field.
When I got the confirmation from him, I nodded to Elliot, Bryant, Switzer, and Keith Smith and we made our way out the locker room. It wasn't until we were halfway to the field when I noticed all the other players had followed us. I motioned to them confused and Jaylon Smith spoke up, "You seriously didn't think we'd miss this right?" He laughed.
I shook my head and laughed before making my way into the field. By this time the stadium was pitch black, a spotlight shined down on me as I made my way onto the middle of the field.
"Would Allison Nunez please join Dak on the field?" The announcers voice boomed through the stadium.
She joined me, confusion clear in her eyes. I grabbed her hands in mine and started my speech I've rehearsed over and over. "Allison, meeting you was fate, being your friend was a choice, but falling for you was beyond my control. I knew I'd fallen for you on our first date and even though we've only been together for a year I know there's nothing that's going to tear us apart. You were meant to be with me and there's no one else I want by side for the rest of my life."
I slowly got down on one knee and her jaw dropped. Elliott, Bryant, Switzer, and Keith appeared behind me each holding out a sign thats spelt out, WILL YOU MARRY ME?
She squealed as she covered her mouth with her free hand and nodded vigorously. I turned around to Elliott who was holding the ring for me. I slowly slid the ring onto her finger and stood up. She pulled me into a hug and a picked her up and spun her around. I was so caught up in the moment I hardly noticed everyone in the stadium cheering and hollering. I saw multiple flashes in the crowd letting me know a lot of people got it on camera.
"That was quite the proposal you Cheesehead." She mumbled into my chest.
"Don't start." I laughed, as I escorted her back to the sidelines.

Allison's P.O.V
I sighed happily at the sight in front of me, Dak was playing with our kids out in the backyard. They had "tackled" him to the ground and laughing as they piled on top of him.
Not too long after he proposed I found out I was pregnant. We were expecting it but we were ready to welcome our little blessing into the world, well both of them that is.
I was pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl.
The boys was named after Dak, Rayne Dakota Prescott Jr. We contemplated for months on what we should name our little girl, it wasn't until right before their birth when we decided on the perfect name. Hailey Margaret Prescott.I really liked the name Hailey and Dak wanted to honor his mom. He's the sweetest.
The back door opened, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Whats for dinner love?"
I stared down at the sink of dishes I was currently washing. "I actually haven't thought about it yet."
"Then were going out, my treat." My husband said as he came up from behind me and kissed my cheek.
I smiled, "That's sounds good to me." I finished up the dishes and we got the kids ready. As we were driving to the restaurant Dak grabbed my hand and kissed the finger that had my wedding ring on it.
"It's crazy to think this never would've happened if I hadn't sent that text to you by accident." He smiled over at me.
"I'm glad you drunk texted me." I smirked.
"I'm glad I drunk texted you to." He laughed.
