Few weeks later

After a bit of walking alone in the dark, she decided to stop and sit.

She started to think, and think, and think,

Until she realised the mess she had made.

Was she going to let those tears fall or not?

No, she had stopped crying a while ago and she was sick and tired of it.

She let determination run through her veins.

"Determination of what?" You may ask.

She wanted to make things better, she wanted to be back and to be forgiven by everyone she had left behind and she was going to do everything to succeed.

Was she going to win? Will the darkness let her go?

Oh yes, it will.

She talked to it open-hearted, it understood her reasons and as if it wasn't anything weird, it let her leave.

Was she going to miss her "home"?

Oh, I'm not sure of it

Was she happy?

Oh yes, she was

In the distance she saw a small light, that grew bigger and bigger as she approached it

Was it the end of the dark road?

Yes, it was

The question now was... Who was she going to see first?

Her family? Her angel? Her friends?

As hard as it may sound, the answer was easy.

Walking under the sun was weird, she didn't remember the warm feeling of the sun burning on her skin, but she didn't mind it at all, she kind of missed it.

She saw him the corner of the street, smoking a cigarette.

His golden hair covering his brown eyes, as always,

His old black leather jacket covering him,

His usual confident look hiding his frail, but strong at the same time, soul.

'Take a step, then another, breathe, open your mouth and talk, you can do this' said her mind as a mantra

'What if he hates me?' she thought

'What if he doesn't' answered her mind

She decided to believe her mind and walked

As she approached him, a sense of warmth surrounded her.

She put her trembling hand on his shoulder and a small "Hey" left her lips

What she wasn't expecting from him was that when he turned around and saw her, small tears had formed in his brown eyes

And she felt two strong arms around her small body

"God, I missed you so much" was the last thing she heard, as she abandoned herself in his embrace.

And suddenly she felt.. Home.
