Few months ago my English teacher asked my class to write a paragraph about what is love (in a romantic way).
At first I didn't know what to write, as I've never experienced it, but then I thought about it more so I started to write.
'Love is something that can't be described with words, because it goes beyond every chance to be explained. It hits you in many different ways that aren't always the same.
Love is when you look at someone as if they were under a dazzling light, or as an angel sent from the sky to earth to enrich your life. It's like a storm of feelings that hits you in the face when you least expect it, making you feel weak and unsteady at first, but then happy, empowered and complete.
Most of the people who surround me told me they fell in love after a fight, because they got the chance to see the "dark side" of that person and were attracted by it. Other times, people fall in love because they realized they shared the same interests and they didn't need words to understand what the other thought about. It's when you know (or you feel) that the person that is right beside you is a sort of anchor, someone who feel comfortable with and makes you feel secure with yourself and with others, if not then it's not love (not a sane one at least).
Now as I said, I never got the chance to experience this kind of love and I don't feel the urge to. I'm happy the way that I am now and I trust in the possibility that someday I'll find someone who will make me feel way happier and more complete that I already am.
I hope it's good enough as an answer. Best wishes,
Serena.
